The age gap is not my favourite trope usually but I was pushed by my friends to read it for so long that I gave in and here I am.
It’s my first book by the author and really enjoyed the writing and the characters. I have my reservations for certain things that happen with which I don’t totally agree but I’ll be reading more by the author for sure.

I had to reread this book because it’s that good!
I love this story so much and the fact that it’s part of my all time favourite fictional world from Penny’s books, it’s just amazing.
What I most loved in this book it’s the awareness that brings by showing us that people with disabilities have a life as well. They’re no different than anyone else, they have a heart to love and be broken and pieced back up.
To my shame , this was the first book by the author that I’ve read but I’m more than anxious to read her other books.
Love it so much! Read it now and fall in love with this couple.

I laughed so much that my face hurts. It’s been so long since I’ve read a romantic comedy so good that I really want to see a movie out of it. Honestly, this book should be read by everyone and trust me when I say that you won’t regret it.
It’s a story about a love that couldn’t be, a life of what-ifs and regret but destiny has a way to bring together two people that are related to that denied love.

As a mother, you will do anything and everything for your children and when one of them is missing, you are able to fight all the impossible situations that are playing sequence by sequence in your mind so you can be there and save them.

Nobody is perfect and having a teenage daughter can definitely be very challenging especially when there are other changes planned like moving to another country to start a new life.

It’s very gripping and many times I had no idea or theories where the story will get me next which is very uncommon and I add that to the bonuses points for the authors because it takes a lot make the readers wanting to know more and more.

I have two questions or better said there are two loose ends that I didn’t get the answers though.

I had no idea that this book was first published more than ten years ago and although it was my first book by the duo, it won’t be the last that I’ll be reading.

An interesting read with a great plot from some old time stories that people use to tell about their small town but sometimes, those stories prove to be real and the past is interconnected with the present more than some people want to admit.
It's gripping for most of the book, with interesting characters and twists and turns that will keep you on the edge for many moments. I liked the fact that there's a bit of real romance for the future and maybe we'll get a book for it.
The past is always coming back no matter how much or far you are running from it.

Another great love story with two characters that I was waiting for their book. It’s a slow burn at times and fast forward in other moments. I loved the banter between them and the redeeming part of Chase.
Looking forward to more by the authors.

Interesting read overall. I enjoyed the story and characters, and I think the author has done a great job in hooking you for wanting to read the next books as well which I always appreciate in my reads.
I didn’t liked the dirty talking though, while I really enjoy it , this time it felt a bit over the top and maybe not necessary.
PTSD is a hard thing to live with and I’m looking forward to read the next books and see what happens

A fake relationship until it isn’t fake anymore because as many times, true love it’s right under your nose and if you open your eyes better you’ll see that what really matters was there all the time.
I love Nico and Demi and their road to happiness wasn’t smooth at all but their real feelings made way into their hearts.
Another amazing story from a favourite and must-read author.

Every now and then we need books like this to remind us that we are all breakable and at any point in our life something can change it forever.
This story is about a breast cancer mother writing to her unborn daughter and teaching her how to enjoy the life with love, heartbreak, friendship and happiness.
I cried at times as well as I was frustrated because the author has a way with her words to make it very real and pulls at your heart more than you want to give.
Love it.

“A heart can ache. A heart can break. A heart can harden.”

Where do I start and where do I end?
I can’t even form a coherent thought after reading We Are Us.
I’m literally speechless.
This story takes you to so many different ups and downs, so many roads that you have to stop and feel and try to put your broken heart away from your brain and stop crying at the same time. You just can’t take it all in one go.
It’s the most amazing story, it’s angsty, will have your heart punched and broken to pieces, it’s deceiving, there are secrets and twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time waiting for the shoe to drop, and when it does you don’t even see it coming, it hits you right in the face with no turning back moment.
Poppy and Gavin are meant to be together and their story is the perfect way to show that life it’s not always what it seems or what it looks like behind closed doors but there’s always hope for your dreams to come true.

“I am hers and she is mine and—” “—We are us.”
