So many feelings for this book
I liked the writing and the whole plot overall. I loved that it ends the way I was hoping for because he was my favourite from the first moment we met him .
But I also have mixed feelings about some scenes. I found some interesting but also , I don’t know, maybe unnecessary?
It’s heartbreaking and taboo but also steamy and heartwarming.

Such a heartbreaking and heartwarming story at the same time.
Dealing with any kind of PTSD is hard and the ones who suffer from it many times denies any help or the ones around them refuse to acknowledge that they can do more they loved ones and help them to have a more settled life because some things will never go away, unfortunately.
I loved the caring characters and the way they are there for the young generation and trying to make them go through their mistakes and understand what it’s better for them.
Now the suspense was done very well for me, it made me guess if Leonard was the one behind all the small details that we were given along the way.
Looking forward to the next books in the series.

So I finally gave up and listened to my friend's recommendation about this author and the books in this series.
I loved everything about this story. Never thought that I would totally be on board with science fiction books but here I am wanting to discover more.
Next stop: all the books by the author because it’s a must!

This book! This story made me cry and think about so many lost love stories that many people, unfortunately, don’t have the chance to live it. More so, about those who have to live with a health disease that stops them to live life in full.
Even if the secrets in the past are buried, many to.es they come back and change the life of any family. I enjoyed this part of the story because both families got closure of the tragic accident and I liked how the author structured the story between the past and present moments.

A full onboard story with crime scenes, deceits, betrayal, suspense and twists and turns that all together will keep you on the edge of your seat. That being said, I still have mixed feelings about it and not sure if I missed something or was just my moods to be able to give full five stars.

If you’re looking for a great slow-burn contemporary romance with reliable characters and their family issues, this is the perfect book for you.
I enjoyed all the moments of laughter and banter, all the different points of view from different characters and their thoughts. A lovely story that at first sight looks like any other romance but it holds more because of the families bonds and friendship.

I always found the author’s books lighthearted, funny and heartwarming with relatable characters and stories. Whether you’re at the beach or in a cosy place, her books are a great escape.
Grown-ups it’s a very long book. It says the story of multiple families with many characters on two or three generations. I must admit that it took me a lot of time to get my head around it because I found it a bit hard at the beginning to keep up with who is who and what they do. After the first half, everything started to come together and I got the hang of it.
The same great writing style and interesting characters overall.
Thanks to the publisher @penguinukbooks and @michaeljbooks for my review copy.

Audiobook

So, apparently I have to go back and listen to the first book because this one ends on a cliffhanger and it follows the main characters.
I enjoyed the characters and their story POV’s. I can see that it’s a long way for them to find that happily ever after and I’m here for it.

I’m so turned out about this story. It’s my first book by the author although I’ve had my eyes on her books for a while now.
Most of the times, I chose books by the cover and blurb and maybe I had my expectations too high up for this one. What I can really say it’s that I don’t know exactly where to place it as a subgenre because it has a bit of everything, from the suspense to romance to traditional fiction in my opinion.
When a long term marriage is ending due to a past secret revealed where involved more of the trust in each other and the “Do I really know you ?” after thirty years plus of marriage, you expect more family drama and suspense and a new beginning with another person someday. All this happens but for me, it felt like I was betrayed because I was rooting for the second chance at love for Romy and I was actually disappointed with the turn of the events.
It’s a story that covers well nowadays family issues, friendships and trust, a fresh beginning and new feelings as well as new dreams when everything you knew has come apart.

A new series with new characters.
A love story that has a lot to go through until it becomes a reality.
Both of the characters are heartbroken in one or more ways but, somehow, they fit together better than other people expect or want.
Dealing with heartbreaking and a past that she runs away from, Nadia is a heroine that wants to find her own way into life and meeting Thomas doesn’t help much.
I disliked the carefree and selfish Thomas that we get to meet for the first time but soon enough things are changing and he changed as well.
I usually hate cliffhanger but I’m looking forward to the next book and see what other shenanigans will these two bring us.
A story about broken dreams, family, friendship and how true love can change a person.
