It's my second book by the author and although i enjoyed the writing and the story overall, there are many things that i couldn't get over while reading it.
Like any teenagers, Olivia is having a hard time to speak her mind to her family especially her mother and decides to stop talking with them at all. Things escalate pretty soon as expected and the story is more about how a family can through and over these moments. The support and understanding from her mother fail in my opinion and i think it's a common occurrence nowadays unfortunately and maybe that's what the author tried to show us with this story.

My first book in the series and an interesting story overall.
As I haven’t read the first book, it was a bit hard to connect with the main characters but as it’s a suspenseful story, every now and then the author will leave a clue to what’s happening and where this story goes on. Many twists, many characters, some very interesting, some just to fill up the plot in my opinion, but an engaging story overall .

My first read by the author. As a mother I can relate to the feelings of protectiveness this story has as we are going to do everything to keep our children safe no matter what the obstacles are.
The writing was good and entertaining, but I couldn’t connect with the characters and some were too predictable or to overwhelming.
The story overall is good but not in my top favourites unfortunately.

It’s been a long time since I wanted to read a book by the author and I’m grateful to the publisher for my review copy.
A fast-paced read that I couldn’t stop reading from the first page till the last one. It’s not an ordinary suspenseful, psychological thriller, I found it much more interesting and unpredictable than anything I’ve read or better said expected. I really didn’t know where this story will take me and there are many moments when I was dreading the next scene because, having children is one of my dreaded fear, to come home and find out that your child was kidnapped and you don’t know how and if you’ll find them.
The narrative voice is everything in this story and all the different characters, twists and turns are making this book a must-read.

This book was a quick read and interesting young rock romance story.
It has a bit of everything in it, from the angst, a cheating boyfriend caught red-handed, first butterflies when you know a new person that you're attracted to and the chemistry is there all the time, the characters are growing slowly throughout the pages, their friendship is interesting and the fact that she doesn't know who he is from the beginning, that he can be himself around her is a great addition to the story.
She's sassy and smart and beautiful while he falls hard for her and doesn't even know it. It's hard to get committed with a person that has to travel a lot, the trust is always an issue but the friendship is getting stronger and the chemistry and love blooms between these imperfect souls that are such perfect match together.

To my shame, this is my first book by the author and I can’t believe how I haven’t read her before.
This book pulled me in from the first chapter and I read it in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down. It’s angsty and heartbreaking but also brings hope and shows what love does and how it can heal a broken life.
Can’t recommend it enough.

A very romantic love story with two characters that are meant to be together from the first time they set eyes upon each other.
Finding The One sometimes feels unreal but when it happens, you can’t get it out of your head.
Great writing, slow burn and great characters.
Would you be willing to wait for that one person?

What a gripping start to what looks like a great trilogy.
I loved that we get both pov and the flash backs from when Ashley and Aron met and what transpired between them.
I’m so here for more of this story.

A bit of a mind-blowing because honestly, being my first book by the author, didn’t exactly know what to expect and definitely didn’t expecting this story. But I love it even more.
With all the dark things happening in her life by then, nothing can surprise the heroine anymore but I love how Cole treats her and claim her as his just after the moment they get married.
There are turns and twists, there may be triggers for some readers, but if you love dark romance books this story it’s definitely for you and I can’t recommend it enough.

It’s my second book by the author and again it touched a very interesting and great topic for nowadays real life.
The only thing that I didn’t enjoy much was maybe the paced, it fell way too slow for my liking or what I’m used to reading but overall it’s a great story with compelling characters and interesting thoughts.
Grief is a state of mind that changes you and your day by day life especially when the person you grief is your own mother and step by step you discover that nothing was as it seemed and there are so many secrets to unveil.
Living and then trying to make a new life away from an abusing husband and father , the complications and all the obstacles that a single mother had to go over for her children better future, everything was well done and an eye-opening that many people are suffering in silence and are too proud or even afraid to seek out for help.
