I've been waiting for this book for more than two years now and we can finally read the story between Scarlet and Billy, my favourite characters from Winston's brothers series.
We needed this heartbreaking moments to understand better what happened in the past as we read pieces of it in the other books and I knew we're in for a helluva of emotional situations and feelings that can't even be expressed.
Now waiting impatiently for the next book to complete this story that I'm sure will be with us for all time favourite books.

If you read Cavalier, the first book in The Crimson Elite, you have met Echo and maybe the impression he has on us is that he is a vulnerable soul, more of a beta character,but you are in for a treat as this book shows his real face, he is so much more and nothing like you have expected.
Yes, he is the twin that everyone thinks of him that he is weak, left aside and always favourites his twin. I felt for him at times because the family can be so rude sometimes but also laugh out loud at the banter between his friends.
Echo is smart, funny at times, swoon-worthy and does he has a dirty mouth :))
Storm is fire on heels, she is so strong and won't give in an inch of herself after she had her heart broken as well, she just wants a one night stand with Echo to feel good and forget about her past, but Echo won't let her go so easy and we are embarked in a story full of great banter and sexy as hell scenes where the chemistry will keep you on the edge from the beginning to the end for these two perfect match.
Another great love story that has everything you want and more from two characters with flaws and insecurities that life brings together when less expected and they are the only ones who has to take a chance at their future.

It's my first book by the author and I'm glad that i choose to read her.
This book's the first in a new series and there are a few characters that apparently were in other books as well but i felt like it's safe to read it as a stand-alone.
It's an interesting story, i liked the writing, it's rich and the characters grow a lot throughout the pages. their interactions are funny for the reliable situations and the honesty and openness it's a fresh breeze to this love story. There are many hot moments between them as well and overall it's a great enjoyable read.

Five crowns for the last book in the series. It’s a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end because there are so many twists and turns that you’ll never see coming your way and the author has done a great job on writing this epic love story with fictional characters but so many true feelings.

The Dumonts series has a second book. This is the story of Blaise and Seraphine.
We knew about them from Discretion , the first book in the series. What I didn’t expect is to go through all the suspense and unexpected love story between them!
This story is a very fast paced one, we barely take a break and going back and forward when everything started, to the moments that brings them together more often than just family events and work meetings.
There are many secrets involved and some will be revealed but there are so many other to be discovered still and hopefully we’ll get to read Pascal’s story very soon because he’s my favourite character from this family.
Another great love story added to this family and beautiful place in France.

This book was a great fresh air story with beautiful places to fall in love and very reliable characters. I loved how the love bloomed between them even a few moments of angst was necessary to grow this love story and their relationship.
Steamy and fulfilling story overall. I want to read the other books as well as there are a few side characters that got my attention.

Love her or lose her it’s amazing and I don’t remember reading a book so hot and full of emotion at the same time. After a few chapters, I went looking for my husband because I just couldn’t read it anymore and the moment he saw my face he’s first question was: “What are you reading now crazy woman?? “

The second book in the series and a lovely story about Nix and Elle.
Firstly, i have to say that i loved the first book and was looking forward to this story for a few months now.
What i didn't expect is to find both of them so lovable and so real down to earth.
Nix has been through a lot a quarterback in high school and college. All his life seemed already settled by his father decisions mostly. He wasn't allowed to make one wrong step and when something unexpected happened, he needs to do a good deed and is brought face to face with Elle.
Elle has no time to breathe or think for herself between the job, school and volunteering jobs. She has trust issues and doesn't want to let loose for a second. I must admit that i didn't like her at all times but i do love that the author has created characters that we can relate to and remember that nobody is perfect.
Close proximity can do miracles to these two that becomes friends and more than friends in a short time.
I always found this time in everyone's life a very important moment for the future because there are decisions to take that can change and shape our lives. And the story is exactly about that, about making future decisions and make space in there for what our hearts want.
I love the side characters and can't wait to read more about mysterious letters.
Nothing less but the best love story from the author as we're used to by now.

I enjoyed this story a bit more than the first book in the series. I found the characters better drawn and the chemistry between them is off the charts as are the scenes.
The mystery of where their father is hiding or what happened exactly has a lot of layers that are unfolding one by one and bring a great addition to the story overall.
There are trust issues, there's suspense and there's love that will always overcome everything no matter what we tell ourselves.
Looking forward to the next book in the series.

It's my first book in the series and not sure if i want to read the other two books or not but i did enjoy the writing and i will read other books by the author.
The main topic of the book is slave trade which, i honestly loved to read about and especially in a historical romance is very important for the time settings and events.
The romance topic though wasn't enough for me, i needed more interaction, more moments between them to really feel the growth of the relationship and love.
