It was my first book only in the hero point of view told and he has a lot to say.
Loss, lust, so many twists and turns, unexpected things happening that you won’t have a minute to catch up your breath and you definitely won’t want to put it down.

A quick and easy read. Not sure what to think about this story actually, there are laughable moments and maybe heartbreaking ones as well.
I liked the idea of the friends being more like sisters as well as the males characters.
I didn’t liked that he was always telling half truths or avoiding them but she was just playing cool like it didn’t matter because honestly it mattered, no matter how superficial you might be or think about a relationship, communicating and being honest all the time matters.
The older couples made me laugh more with their plans/players moves .
I’ll probably read the next books though because I’m interested to see what happens with the other characters.

Well, I’m much younger than the characters or couples in this book but I can easily see and understand what’s happening.
While I liked the writing style and the description of the country cottage, the characters left a bad taste in my mouth actually.
Firstly, the heroine is so stubborn to accept that she’s going through a phase in any woman’s life and she is definitely in need of help. Then she’s only complaining about having to do all the housework but she’s still not saying much to her husband. As a mother I understand that you’ll do anything for your children anytime but that doesn’t mean to let them get over you like you don’t even count.
The husband is a topical man with eyes for other women as well especially when your wife doesn’t pay that much attention to you anymore.
The ending was predictable for me and honestly I’m still a bit confused as to what I felt about the whole story.

A funny and entertaining story with nice characters. There are a lot of moments when you gonna laugh out loud and also a lot of things happening in a span of a very short time. Sometimes we like to believe that true love can be felt in a very short time and maybe that’s what this book wants to share.
I feel like I couldn’t really connect with the characters. Yes they’re young and smart and trying to live their lives in full, they have insecurities and hopes but also some conceptions about life itself that is very difficult to change their opinion.

Thanks for the opportunity to read and review it to the author, publisher and NetGalley

Funny

A lot of laugh out loud moments and at times I was wondering how could a person get herself into so many awkward situations.
A nice way to get over a heartbreaking relationship is made up for her by her friends to start dating again til she’ll have 10 dates and she can choose what to do next with her life. But, in the meanwhile, a swooning neighbour makes an appearance and everything changes.
Good writing, nice characters and lovely story.

A very interesting story to say the least.
It’s intense, raw and gives you all the feelings that you’re looking for in a love story that maybe shouldn’t have to happen but the chemistry, the attraction and love has other ways to get what it wants.
Put together two of the most stubborn and strong people and see if they can resist a second without igniting at least a small spark for the great fire.
Heartbreaking situations makes for a change of mind and situations in a very short time and that’s how our heroine builds her business.
A man used to have and get whatever he wants when he wants, it’s more and more interested in that one particular person that won’t play his game.
A lot of twists and turns, good writing and great characters. Yes , a cliffhanger for a big story but let’s see what the next book brings out of these two lovers.

While the writing is very good and keeps you invested in the story, I couldn’t get into the female character at all. I mean, she’s a strong woman and wants to do everything on her way, she doesn’t want to rely on anyone for anything in her life especially with their B&B but it feels like she could have loosened up a bit. Nobody is that cold strong headed and everyone has insecurities even if they don’t want to acknowledge them.
I’m a city girl and was like this all my life, maybe that’s why I couldn’t get into all this obsession with the horses and races and everything else regarding this story.
Everyone deserves love even if it takes more for some people to find or feel it.

This book was definitely something to remember.
I love the idea of the undertaker as a heroine and at the end a business woman in a man’s world.
Nothing is so easy as you might think and mistake after mistake, she won’t give up on her business no matter how many obstacles she encounters. I really enjoyed her thoughts and insecurities and everything in between.
The love story is great as well because he doesn’t treat her like a crazy person and takes her in beautiful places on dates.
The writing is good and the book has an interesting and original story.

I’ve finished this story a few weeks ago but just now got my head around it to write a review.

Told in multiple POV is the perfect way to find yourself engrossed in this story that will play with your feelings more than you know.

“A crime “ needed to be solved and although you have almost everything laying out page by page, I couldn’t find the true until I ‘re read the final chapter. And that’s the perfect recipe for a great book.

A great writing style, with compelling characters and so many twists and turns that your head will be spinning around for a few days for sure.

Obviously this is not a book for everyone but I found myself drawn into all the details and descriptions, all the stories from different countries and civilisation, all the different details that every society has and go by regarding dead and the life after death.
