A fast-paced, super short second chance romance full of great sexy scenes that are very hot and sweet.

Great writing and characters, but i want more, there is only a bit of angst for the flashback when they were together a few years before meeting again.

4.5 stars
Ok, so I am 35 and even if i can't relate with some of the events and situations that our heroine goes through, i love this book so much.
The writing and everything that is said in the book from Kattie's outbursts towards her kids to all her relationships with her friends and even Dex, made me laugh out loud so much and she seems so real and true to her feelings and thoughts that i can see her as one of my friends.

Being a single mother of 3 kids and going through a certain moody period in life, one can get frustrated and unsure of her feelings, but Dex is the sexy tatted American silver fox that wanted a quiet life in the UK with no strings attached that will fall for Kattie without wanting.

Said in dual pov, i loved this romance at any age because love doesn't care about that, and will recommend this book to all my friends.

Love

One of the most anticipated books of the month for sure it's finally here.
L.J.Shen has become an auto-buy author for me since I started reading Vicious and that book is definitely one of my all-time favourites books. So it's an understatement that when I found out she is going to continue with the toteholes series I was beyond happy.
Pretty Reckless is about Daria, the daughter of Jamie and Mel from Defy, and Penn, their foster care project at the moment.
I can only say that she did it again, she brought us to the edge of every feeling, a rollercoaster of emotions with this angsty book and everyone has to read it.
There are so many things happening, family issues, a mother-daughter relationship that says a lot about how a teenager feels in our days when she needs her closest female friend near but it's lacking of it. There is the slow burn between Penn and Daria and omg all their moments from the first kiss to the shower one and everything else are just 🔥☄️🔥💥hot and some of the best scenes. There’s a lot of drama as well as we can find in a high school and college nowadays, all the fake smiles and slowly dying inside unable to talk about it with anyone as you can risk your feelings to be used against.
I only have one complaint: Why does my husband look like a vampire???? Or why is he described like one?????
Another amazing book that I’ll reread for sure.

What have i read?
This book is much darker, better, greater or amazing than anything I've read from the author till now and i was speechless by the end of the last sentence.
Tara has created a new world ,a new duet with characters that you won't expect , and a story that will keep you up till you finish reading because it's full of feelings and actions that will make you wonder what is going on in the best way, and you'll want to find out how everything's going to solve out.
In the middle of one of the most beautiful and visited cities in the world, the author has created a love story between two characters that are so different in the way they know life and how they grow up, but as usual, opposites attract and the chemistry between Aislinn ( i love this name) and Damon it can be felt all the times when they are in together.
Aislinn is a sexy young woman who is independent and will stand her ground as also will choose what is right in life and get away from her father's political schemes.
Damon King is another story, he builds a kingdom for himself and although is known for the underworld people as ruthless and cruel, in private and especially near Aislinn he is so worth swooning, sexy, assertive, paying attention to everything that means Aislinn (even if he is a jerk at times but you'll understand why when you read the book). I can't wait to read the second book in this duet because there are so many questions that i have and need answers.
This story is darker and sexier and amazing as Tara Leigh has used us with her words.

This book guys!!
It's my second read by the author and went in it blind as i was expecting a great time reading it and wasn't disappointed a single moment of this journey.

A fast-paced and funny romantic comedy that made me laugh out loud so many times that my face was hearting at times.
I loved the characters, so different, with different past and backstories plus the American and British inheritance but so perfectly mixed up together.
The twins are just hilarious and they play a great role in the story.
The banter, the hate to love you chemistry is just perfect for the characters and the journey to their happily ever after will get you through a lot of feelings as not everything is shiny and sparkles as seen on the screen.

Another great book by the author that everyone has to read.

Penny Reid will always be my favourite contemporary author no matter what because I feel in love with her writing and her way of telling us stories full of real feelings and so reliable characters, to the point that we actually believe in our minds that the Winston brothers exist in reality and all the characters from Knitting in the city could be some of our friends or family members.
With the final chapter of this new series Law of Physics:Time, I believe even more than ever that this author should be a must read and study her work in college or university and everyone should read at least one of her books.
Time has always the last word in everything we do because we need time for every little thing, for an idea to form, for a second of time to realize that we are falling in love, for a few days or weeks to accept that our life would be better and more fulfilling with the right person next to us, as well as time to wait for that person to be next to us at the right time for them also.
I loved the story of Mona and Abram, their banter, they feelings of happiness and heartbreak and wishful of a future together, their journey to get their well deserved happily ever after with all the sacrifice and time to wait for the right moment, everything in between and more, because once again, love will go through everything to find that peace in our characters life and heart.
Waiting impatient for more stories.

Oh yes!
Another great story from this author.
Space carry on the story between Mona and Abram (have I told you how much I like their names?)
In Motion, we've got to know Mona and Abram, a young female with a brilliant mind and an even great professional future ahead, and a sexy and broody musician. After they spend a week knowing each other and making their heart and thoughts dreaming of a better future, Mona leaves Abram and disappears.
Being young and having a lot of insecurities at her age it's understandable, also wanting to protect her heart from hearth breaking might be the reason she left but that won't help stopping her to think and dream about him in the following years. Fast foreword two years after that eventful week, they get to be in close proximity again, and this time there is no escape for them to face what their true feelings are and what they want from each other.
It ends again with a cliff hanger but Abram letter it's everything that will make you want to wait for the next and final book in this amazing trilogy.

I devoured this book in one sitting in a few hours because I just couldn't put it down.
There are many sports romance out there but only a few that I’ve read had me on the edge with so many feelings from hot and bothered to internal screaming because I read it at work and I needed a drink or two plus a lot of tissues for either the laugh out loud moments that had my face hurting or for the angsty moments that made me cry and have my heart broken up for Z in so many ways and moments.
The past it's not easy to forget and for some people, it's even harder when that past can't be changed or redeemed and for a senior student can be even harder with all the pressure of their daily lives and accomplishments required.
Zach and Sugar are such a great and perfect match in every possible way and their chemistry and banter, their feelings and anger and angst were felt in full from the story told with each page turned.
I can't write a proper review or one that will make Justice to this book because it's that great and everyone must read it.
I also hope to have Reece book as well as Eric’s one.

4.5 stars
What a great ending for this duet. You really have to read the first book to understand more about this beautiful love story.
The book starts where it left on the first instalment and although there isn't that much angst overall, I enjoyed both points of view and how they tried to cope with being separated and maybe not having a chance for a future together. The hot intimate moments show again how much two people can go mad about one another when in love.
A fast-paced read with ups and downs as any great love stories between two beautiful broken souls that fate brings them together and they will have to fight for their happily ever after because the heart wants what it wants.

An interesting read through the scenes and events that are created.
Living in the proximity of the scenes presented in the book was a bit of a surprise as I definitely wasn't expecting that
I’ve read it in one sitting and was indeed on the edge of my seat to find out what will happen next and how everything will wrap up. The suspense was present and well proportioned for my liking.
What I didn't like much: maybe the chapters were a bit short, short sentences as well even if keep it short and simple is advisable, I felt like I needed more because the female character is a psychologist and was expecting more elaborate thoughts. Also, I love having both pov and I don't mind any time or person but I found a bit off the repetition of the name of the male character for almost every paragraph in one chapter. Don’t get me wrong, I’m nowhere near an expert or anything, I enjoyed the book and all these are my honest opinions.
Overall it was a great story and I’m looking forward to more from this new to me author.
