Wow what a ride. That was very unexpected how the story took so many turns. I loved that she remained the same strong willing characters that will do everything right to get the killer and she believes in justice. And the personal drama always puts me on the edge because I feel like these characters are my friends now and I’m frustrated and upset as they are. But also hopeful that everything will be solved in the end, might not be soon or what everyone expects but I know it will be great.
And that’s why I love when I find books like this that will make me stop and think about life and decisions and what ifs.
I can’t remember being so addicted to a series like I am with this one so you can imagine how much I will recommend it

I have read none of the previous books in the series but I have them on my to be read shelf now because of this story. I’ve noticed that the author is new to me as well, so I was intrigued by this title even more.
Living her life on the run, Lottie didn't expect to be recognised and helped by a man that crossed her path years ago. From the met go, this story is full of suspenseful moments where she's trying to escape her past and someone who's set on making her disappear for good.
Callan is there with her at all times, and while they trust and know each other better, so their chemistry and relationship blooms.
A few hilarious moments and many twisted turns along the way, but an entertaining story overall.
I'm looking forward to read more by the author in the future.
Very grateful for my review copy

Brilliant and while his personal life was a huge part of the story, it’s exactly what i loved the most.

Single mother, friends to lovers and a lot of difficulties with this couple. They are both sweet and not overly dramatic.
I liked that many of the moments representing her daily life felt real and included all the small things that many times get overlooked in stories about motherhood and tiredness and how scary it is to think about starting a new relationship when your life is not at all as you have wished for. Their connection was felt on the page from the beginning and that chemistry was boiling.
Overall, it's a nice romance that many readers will enjoy.

A very different take for a romance story especially one that’s published as trad pub.
I found it very interesting overall. It talk more openly than any other story that I’ve read about similar plots. What I found more interesting was actually the way the author has put a big spotlight on the relationship after they agreed to an open one.
However, I couldn’t connect with any of the characters unfortunately. She seems too selfish and self-centred while wanting the best from both lifestyle even if it hurts her marriage and her daughter.
The ending? Was a big deal for me as I was expecting something totally different but I guess I’ll take it as it is and move on as the couple did.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy through NetGalley

I’ve been a fan of Jack Tate series for a while now and was looking forward to read the new instalment in this gripping thriller saga.
Once again, Alex Shaw proves he is one of my favourite authors for thrillers stories and I can’t recommend his books enough.
Jack Tate is on a mission to cease an upcoming war. The story takes us around the world through various countries and many killer scenes. The suspense builds up so much that I couldn’t even breath until we discovered who is behind these unexpected and unknown machinations that only have one target.
I’m really looking forward to see where the author takes us next because after this rollercoaster story, I’m not sure what Tate can overcome. But I’m here for the amazing creativity of the author and I think everyone should read his books.

The second book in the trilogy is out now and it packs more enjoyable moments between these two characters.
Eva has a decision to make that it does not come easy. Finn is still a broken soul and a stubborn one, I would say as well.
Their chemistry is undeniable, and their attraction to each other is relentless whenever they met.
The family drama continues with a mistake made by Finn. Or at least that's what some may say. I think he actually makes the right call in indicating what's happening behind the doors. I’m intrigued to see how this situation will be wrapped up honestly.
I was taken aback by his mother's words regarding his relationship, but I also can see where she is coming from and I empathise with her.
This story was like watching a reality show with celebrities that go to charity balls, demonstrate they are humans and have feelings outside the shiny exterior and their fortunes.
Looking forward to the next and last instalment in this trilogy. I need that happily ever after.
