I’ve been a huge fan of the author’s books over the years and I couldn’t pass the opportunity to read an early copy of her newest book, “Sleep no more”
This is the first book in her new series, Lost night files and one that sets up the bar quite high in my opinion. A great group of friends and lots of mystery and paranormal activity as already known in her special mark. A romance subplot couldn’t miss from her story and I think that’s always what draws me back to her writing. She is a master at intertwining so many suspenseful moments with sweet romance scenes.
The mystery part was quite interesting and made me guess myself a few times but it’s solved by the end and that twist was really surprising. There are still some unanswered questions that I have but I guess we will get to know much more in the next books.
I loved it and I couldn’t recommend it enough to any suspense readers.

I was intrigued by the cover and description of this story. Knowing that I enjoyed the previous book by the author, I wanted to read this one and see where she’s taking me next.
That being said, it took me a while to read this book. I’m usually a one sitting reading person but the fact that I’m here there are so many characters and the past and present don’t combine until the end, it made it difficult to even keep up with who is who and what their part is in this story.
The DNA kits was an interesting idea because I can see why everyone will be intrigued and what’s happening next is a spiralling suspenseful moments where the characters are showing exactly their ugly parts and while they are still trying to hide it, it makes everything more twisted.
It’s an intriguing story overall, with unlikeable cast of characters , at least for me and I would recommend this book to any reader because I loved the whole concept and I think it makes for some great bookish discussions and not only bookish.

After many years of read so many thrillers and courtroom dramas, I honestly thought I have figured it all out. But I haven’t and that ending left me literally speechless

Jon Reznik is an ex delta operative and of course, while retired, trouble founds him at every corner.
The story was much more different than the previous ones. I enjoyed it more to be honest. It’s more suspenseful and the unexpected and unpredictable twists and actions made it a roller coaster ride.
It ties up nicely with the previous book and some characters make appearances.
Jon went on a hunt for revenge after witnessing his best friend’s murder. While he’s not in active duty anymore, and while he was always cautious about the consequences of his actions, in here he has no remorse in seeking that revenge.
Full of unexpected twists, the story take a big turn and kept me on the edge throughout. I can’t wait to see where the author will get us next.
