Book seventeen in DI Kim Stone series and one that might’ve been quite hard to read for me.
I loved how emotional and human was Detective Kim Stone portrayed in this story.
While she’s coming back stronger and ready to catch the killers , we get to know her so much more now. She’s suffering from PTSD since she was almost killed and hasn’t got over it as some might think she would.

The whole idea of trying to cover up murders by making them look like suicides had me engaged from the beginning. And the other investigation that she needs to take part of was quite surprising as well, at least the ending.

I loved this story. It’s so easy to forget that I’m reading a fiction book while the author has created a perfect character that feels so real with lots of flows and strength at the same time.
The book can be read as a standalone without issues but I would recommend to read the last few past books in the series to understand the characters better.
If this series is being made into movies, I don’t think I would want to watch anything else.

I love The dive stage series and I love these short stories that Kylie has wrote throughout the years because these characters deserve a long time love and story with their fans.
Jude is quirky and a great female lead that just wants to live her life and find her match as all the other friends in the crew.
Dean is the new producer of the band and while he kinda hates one of them for “stealing” his ex girlfriend, he is still there to do what he knows best and make a name for himself in the industry.
They clicked on so easy but not everything is smooth sailing as past hurting feelings are surfacing and Dean takes his time to understand and accept that his heart wants Jude.

Short, steamy and a must romance.

I found this book intriguing and while heartbreaking it was heartwarming at the same time. Cancer bring a big factor in the story, it’s hard to create a novel that revolves emotions and how one griefs and cops with it all.
It was an interesting concept and I loved that she hasn’t settled down for the guy that didn’t really wanted much from her than just to have a warm body next to him.
The beautiful romance story is a slow burn one and full of what ifs. I honestly thought that it may not end in a happily ever after after so many obstacles in its path.

I must admit that I personally loved the first book in the series much more than this one.
Same writing, same great character development and a story that makes me swoon and want to slap and kiss at the same time both of them.
It’s going to be another hit from one of my all times favourites authors!

I love this duke, he’s amazing

A new fast paced and never ending pulse racing story from a well known and loved author.

Brant Savage is not your usual PhD person and when he’s kidnapped to train to become almost invincible, there’s only one thing he can do; find out who is Meed in reality and why was he the only one chosen for this task.
The story is like a never ending rollercoaster of suspenseful moments and some unpredictable twists.
There are a few things that I had to reread to make sure I understand what’s happening and where everything is moving forward especially when there are a few chapters told from different pov and on different parts of the world. It also contains lots of unbelievable aspects but I can totally see why the need to use them. The diary was really interesting to learn about and the overall story had me very intrigued by the ending.

Don’t miss this intense adrenaline rush thriller!

I love her books and I was looking forward to read this new addition to her latest series.
Maria and Peter have a one night stand and she leaves before he wakes up. No walk of shame on here but I was sad for Peter because he felt used and I was sure that wasn’t her intention.
Moving forward , they met again competing for an interesting audition. I loved how they both played out in it and to see what comes next in their real relationship. The open discussion was so worth it and something that I am always looking for in romance books because miscommunications are the worst.
They both have a past and lost to share about that said past but I loved how responsive they both are for each other and how their love just blooms with each new scene.
I’m all about the body positivity and I’m hoping to see more about it in other books, not only by a handful of authors.
