Erika Foster is apparently a well loved series that to my shame I haven’t heard of or read before. But that will change soon.
Fatal witness was amazing. From the gore prologue to the last page, it’s a story that will give you chills and make you doubt your theories throughout the whole story.
Who is that skilled killer that was trying to hide all his marks and clues when murdering Vicky?
The author is giving clues about how twisted this web of lies and deceit works and towards the end, if you take a moment to contemplate what the heck have you read, you’ll see the truth.
Trust no one and go in blind if you dare, that’s how I would summaries this book.

A woman fiction story about a past love affair and a new one blooming slowly.
The grandma and granddaughter are embarking on a road trip with many memories of a first genuine love story for Evelyn and a second chance at love for Jenna after her husband wants to divorce her.
The show stealer is definitely Evelyn and her own tales are full of butterflies, love, respect and heartbreaking moments.
Jenna wasn't really a character that I can say I enjoyed or loved, but she grows up on me towards the end, when her own love story blooms slowly and she proves to be more mature and thoughtful.
A story that many readers will enjoy for its quirky older character and heartwarming story overall.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy through NetGalley

After her husband’s murder, Allison has to get away from a dangerous place where her late husband left her. He was dealing for a big magia long and now she has to pay off his debt. On top of that, her relationship with her daughter is taking a stroll.
I found this story riveting and very engaging. From the first chapter I was hooked in knowing what’s happening and where would it take me next.
Alison is a great female character and I loved how she seemed so reliable and real throughout the story.
There are quite a few unexpected twists in my opinion and I think many readers will enjoy this book.

I’ve been reading the author's books for a few years now and I always look forward to reading a new release. This one sounded great and I enjoyed it a lot.
I don't think I’ve read many books where the characters can connect instantly from the beginning and this one was just so good and interesting to see how that will develop into the happily ever after.
The connection and chemistry is bursting out of the pages and their interactions are so well done that made me want to be there with them in this fictional world because I want to have real life friends like that.
They grow together; they don't shy away from their feelings and when the time to make a big decision comes, they surely leave nothing back.
Friends to lovers trope readers will enjoy this book immensely.

The premise of this story is one that has been written so many times before, but there are always small things that will make a story different and more interesting than others.
And here we get it right at the beginning when the prologue sets the tone for what's to come later in the novel.
A mother-in-law can be seen as mean and untrustworthy, within reasons. She will only want what's best for her child and not settle for anything less.
The story is woven in a manner that makes you doubt all characters at one point or another. And I must admit that while I thought I had it all solved and knew what the next steps will bring, I found myself intrigued by some of the unpredictable twists.
I can't say that I got to get close or feel sympathy for any of them in the end. Some cheesy scenes were definitely on the spot for the romance part.
Overall, it's an enjoyable read that many will love and find it entertaining.

I’m so on the fence about this story. I loved Boyfriend Bargain years ago and was looking forward to read Eric’s story.
Enemies to lovers that actually aren’t so enemies because it’s more of a second chance romance that ticks all the boxes for a great story.
But, somehow, it kinda missed a spot for me. Whether I’m just tired of the NA genre or there are some topics that just put a foul taste in my mouth and seem to be present in most books now, I can’t say I loved this one. And Ilsa is one of my favourite authors of all times.
Onto the next one with bigger hopes.

I’m a sucker for second chance romance and this one fits the bill in every aspect. Add in the kinks expected from the author already and I’m all set up for a good few hours ( and running after hubs around the house afterwards

What a ride was reading this story!
Just like a serpentine, all the twists and turns kept me guessing throughout the chapters and honestly I loved every single moment of this book.
Great characters with so much depth and how their long time friendship is just taking its course and the solving of the case just flows uninterrupted. A cold case mystery, rich and famous family, people that are willing to take any risk for achieving their goals, so much suspense and drama, what’s not to like really?
So many small clues but also theories that aren’t proving to be right, and that for me makes a great must-read book.
