It kept me engaged from the first chapter to the last page. I did not know what’s going to happen next.

Probably, like most people, have had my theories set up early in the book. But the author created an amazing plot by giving so many clues and still adding a huge twist at the end that changed everything and made me rethink of each scene I have read.

The novel is told in dual perspectives from the main characters and the flashbacks helped solidify my interest to keep reading it in one sitting.

The final twist was really unpredictable, but it just made so much more sense.

I know that this might be a different opinion, but I really feel bad for Daniel’s mother. I think she needed more help along the way, and while this is a fictional story, it can easily be someone's reality.

More like 3.5 stars honestly.

I enjoyed the story overall and the romance.

But, and there’s a big but, there are so many things that don’t add up at all for me. I think that if we would’ve had more of the past in flashbacks and maybe even more attention to what is actually happening there, it would have worked much better for me. I’ve seen the twist coming from earlier than halfway through, but that didn't stop me to see where the story takes up next. And as expected, it went exactly as I thought it will end.

Nice cover and story, but felt short in many places for me.

Bookstagram made me buy it

Fast-paced, gripping story.

That’s how I would review and title this novel.

With a very mixed group of characters, some very odd ones, but intriguing, the story kept my attention from start to finish.

I have read none of the author’s books or even the first one in the series, but I had no problem in connection with the main ones. It builds up slowly, with sparks of suspense sprinkled after each chapter, and it holds the final twist and conclusion at the highest level.

I will recommend this story to anyone that enjoys a pulse racing trip.

Scarred Crown is the second book in The Bellerive Royals series.

Nicholas is just amazing. Trying to live a normal life, as normal as possible with his status, he doesn’t expect to see the only person who he thought about all these years. His childhood friend and the only person who had his heart. But life is unpredictable and many times, miscommunication or just a simple assumption can change everything.

I loved their witty banter and interaction. The intense chemistry was felt throughout the story. Their “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” made me so happy because it brought them together even more.

There are a few angsty moments as well as challenging times for both of them.

It’s a wholesome romance story with great characters and subplots. Reigning duties, brothers confronting and of course, a love story that was meant to happen.

I can't recommend this series enough.

The first thing that caught my eye was the cover. I love it and the title alone makes me want to know more about it.

I’m so glad that this novel really overcomes all my expectations.

From the first chapter to the last, step by step, this twisted story holds me captive for the grand finale.

And what a ride altogether! I’m half /half partial to secret societies and hidden secrets and everything related to it.

This story hits the marks in the most unexpected way for me.

The all-female members of the society are such an interesting mix of characters.

I don’t know if I would’ve accepted that invitation if I were Nicole. Would I be intrigued by it? Definitely.

And that's why I loved it so much. I could live this fictional life through Nicole.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a thrilling ride on an intense read.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

Quick short story, full of hilarious moments and unthinkable scenes, Bride for a day is the perfect read for anyone on the lookout for a beautiful once in a lifetime chance romance.

I really liked the fictional story because I doubt in reality this would happen in our today’s time. Or I just have a lot of trust issues but that’s totally on me. I wouldn’t have Cassie’s courage to escape my life the way she did and get married “just for one day” with the first stranger I would met on my way to a new life.
She’s brilliant and the chemistry and their relationship was very interesting to see evolving. Great secondary characters as well.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy through NetGalley

“Nothing feels better” is such a heartwarming story. I rarely like single parent or kids in my books, but Britt made me read this story in one sitting.

These characters are full of… everything. Heart, sass, friendship, chemistry.. They’re so reliable and down to earth. My heart hurt so much for some of them and many times I just wanted to punch her ex.

I loved how the author is showing that motherhood is difficult and trying to jungle small kids with their own challenges and aiming for a career herself. Jocelyn is such an amazing woman and mother.

She deserves her own happily ever after and the adventures that come before that. Minus the troubles with the ex, of course.

Jesse is quite the perfect hero in here. He is always offering his help, learning more about life since he met Joss and her children, still being the joker and putting his feelings out on the table.

The four Js are making up for a great fictional family that could easily be a real one.

This series is probably one of my favourite ever and I would recommend it for anyone who wants to read a well thought, reliable and emotional stories with a dash of fire.

I have a love/hate relationship with the first book, but I loved the characters, and I wanted to see where the author takes this story next.

It can easily be read as a standalone, but it's always nice to have a better feel of some characters.

That being said, I adored this book. The characters, their traits, their interaction and even the slow burn fire made me turn the pages faster and faster.

It's hilarious, suspenseful even, and the chemistry was felt throughout the chapters.

I’m looking forward to read the next books in the series.

I really enjoyed this book, and the series is a must read one.

The setting is spectacular; the characters are so well drawn, and I loved the interaction and chemistry between them and how their love blossoms slowly but steadily.

A beautiful romance story with a second chance at love that deserves to take the risk.
