Nobody but us is a must read story. Many have liked it for one reason, others have hated it for the same reason.
I enjoyed it. I can’t say I loved it but it’s a great story. And while it's a very heavy book with some triggers or topics that need to be discussed, it's probably why this is a must read story.
A marriage and its upbringing are still taboo talks sometimes. The couple made for a tense read with many difficulties, lots of interesting turns and some twisted scenes. I felt like it's a bit too much in the middle of it, but once I got past three quarters, it all made much more sense.
While this was a debut novel, it was amazingly beautiful written and gripping. All the feelings and frustrations that the characters felt were so well done on the page.

Star Bright is a wonderful romance story set in the glamorous Hollywood.
Enemies to lovers that jump from hate to Instant Love in just a few moments? I’m here for it all. More so, I always loved a great story between a starlet and a reporter. They both have a common ground to walk through and know all about behind-the-scenes schemes.
I felt like their connection and chemistry was great and while it was quite fast paced, it just showed how much one can love change a one when the right person comes along.
I enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to read the next ones in the series as some of the secondary characters picked my interest.

I love when I discovered new to me writers and their novels. The latest is this grasping detective investigation that held my attention till the last page.
This was my first book in the series, but it could be easily read as a standalone as we get a good understanding of the main character's past.
A teenage girl is found dead and her sister has gone missing after both of them attending a funfair in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The setting is really interesting to read about as usually we get more big cities plots, so this was a refreshing idea for me.
The investigation will bring out a few hidden secrets from this community and the interactions were interesting to read. The main character has a great relationship with her team and my understanding is that one of them is not always present for all the books, but it’s a big part of the story.
It’s suspenseful at times and had a lot of turns where I thought I knew where this is going to end. A perfect read for many readers of the genre.
That ending surely was very unexpected and left a huge opening for the next instalment.

Rules for engaging the Earl is the second book in the series and one that I was looking forward to read. I enjoyed the previous one and wanted to see where the author will take this trio next.
Constance is probably my favourite of them all. And her story can be seen as friends to lovers more, even if it starts as a fake marriage.
The interaction between Constance, Kat, and Blythe is very unusual. But I loved how the author brings them together, even if they all have been tricked and married to the same man. Their friendship and support in thriving is beautifully developed.
In comes Jonathan, a childhood friend of Constance, a war veteran but ready to help her out, and himself, I might add.
What starts as a simple fake marriage develops into a beautiful romance story where they finally let out all those feelings they felt years ago.
I enjoyed the build up tension between them, the chemistry and all their interactions and the suspenseful moments where her life and company were in danger.
I'm looking forward to read Blythe’s story because she's definitely a character that I want to know more about now.

The first book in a new series is always slower as we get to know a bit of the main characters and their past and what drives them. I think I’ll continue reading the next ones in the series because I really like where this one is going and I’m intrigued.

I can’t believe that I haven’t read his books sooner.
This story was much darker than I expected but very interesting nevertheless. I felt so bad for Liam and but also glad about the final.

This was my first book by the author and I had no idea what I was going to feel or expect.
I’m so glad I picked it up because I loved it. It was so well done and twisted and everything I am looking forward to read in a great domestic thriller. The addition of his father’s dementia and the struggle of living with it as well as everyone’s concepts about it, as in dismissing it, gave a plus point in my cards.
I must admit that I am always looking for a romance side in my reads and here , while it takes a step back from the main action, it’s actually the driving force for him to discover what happened and who is behind her disappearance.
Loved it.
Looking forward to read more by the author.
