A story full of suspenseful moments, interesting characters and an unexpected ending.
I got hooked on it from the first chapter and couldn’t stop reading because I had so many questions and feelings for the heroine and what she had to go through.
Great writing and engaging story overall.

I love this book. I read it in one sitting and I just finished it. It has all my favourite things for a perfect romance story: grumpy hero, sunshine heroine, big , meddling family and the perfect amount of suspense to keep everything flow and reliable.
I still have to read lots of books from the author’s back catalogue but I’m making my way slowly and devouring them.

The worst best man by Lucy Score is going straight into my all time favourite romance books . I couldn’t stop reading it and loved both Franchesca and Aiden . So many swooning moments and laughable scenes, perfect steam and chemistry overall.

Opposite attracts with great banter and interesting characters overall, this romance story reminds me of My fair Lady movie and I really loved that film years ago.
The interaction between Cain and Violet was such a delight to partake in the story. They both grow as characters and all greatly.
Not sure if I liked all of her friends or their attitudes, but I enjoyed seeing more reliable characters in this fictional world.
It takes a while for Violet to give up and recognise her feelings for Cain and to actually accept that she wants to be romantically involved with him, but this slow burn fits perfectly in here.
Looking forward to read more by the author in the future

One of my favourite duets from last year was Fable and you can imagine my excitement when I heard there's more to the Fable world!
I loved The last legacy. I love Bryn and how young but strong and witty she is, especially after having to go through all the tests that her uncle puts her through to show that she's worth her name and place in the family. Obviously, they aren't a normal family and the suspenseful moments kept me on the edge throughout the book.
I loved the forbidden part of the story, the first butterflies and how everything else stops with this side of her life.
I'm looking forward to read the next instalment because that ending left me wanting much more from these characters and world.

Because her late father was part of the police investigation that dismantled a large group of corrupts people, her thoughts go with all his targets and informants list.
From here onwards, we get to see her in action and the twists and thrilling turns don't take a break till the end.
There are a few unbelievable or unreliable things happening in the story overall but, I enjoyed it as a great suspenseful book and I’m looking forward to read more in the series as this was just the first instalment.

The hunt has lots of difficulties as there are characters that will be very helpful and interested in joining forces, but there are others that see everything as a time lost and are reluctant to help.
It's heartbreaking and thrilling, a story that will make you feel bad for each one of them, but it also brings closure and a great ending.
