Is it me or this reads as an older 90’s movie?
I had to DNF half point unfortunately and the rating is only for what I read which is ok and the usual from this duo

Elinor and Levi are the perfect couple and Dory is a little mischievous dog that knows something and will always bring them together one way or another.
Dory is a rescue dog that will always find a way to escape and makes up for really comical scenes. In the haste of finding Dory, Elinor and Levi will rediscover their feelings for each other.
Second chance romance with a heartwarming story and some topics that in my opinion should be talked more and maybe the awareness of what it actually implies and how it can challenge a person’s life every day it should be acknowledged more.
I haven’t read the other books in the series but I will surely look up for them because this one was a delight and sometimes we need a few hours of laughter and romance.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy.

Western Waves is the third book in The compass series

I haven’t read the second book in the series due to other commitments but now I will because I really want to know more about other characters stories and I also need it because I love the author’s books and she’s a must read for me.

I enjoyed this arranged marriage grumpy hero/sunshine heroine romance.
Both Damian and Stella has a huge past to overcome and accept so they can carry on with their life’s and the side characters were my heroes in here. The ending was something very unexpected and that’s what I love in a great story, that twist that will happen without ever seeing it coming your way.

In true Brittainy C.Cherry , this is another emotional story that pulls at your heartstrings in more ways than another.

Arc review

Trying to escape her campus life after her best friend was murdered, Charlie gets on a road trip with a stranger that, along the way, seems to know way too much about her life.

There are so many unbelievable twists in here but I was hooked because that’s what I was in the mood for, an escape from the reality with so many old movies quotes and some of my favourite music songs from the 90s .

Unpredictable twists? Not so much, but that never stopped my enjoyment.

It was my first book by the author and I can see why his books are so loved/hated. I got one enjoyed it a lot and I’m looking forward to read more in the future.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy.

My head is spinning from so many love triangles in this series and it really feels like a soap opera , one that is unbelievable but also hooks you in

Super low drama, easy love between two childhood friends
I can’t get over the transgender character scene, that’s a bit rude and may be funny for the guys of that age but still … bad taste in my mouth.

The queen of Angst has done it again! I have no idea how but I felt in love with these characters and couldn’t stop til the last page. Which is no big deal when it comes to the author’s books for me but I surely didn’t expect this kind of heartbreaking and heartwarming story at the same time.

4.5 angsty stars
