Murder most actual is the perfect story for any reader who wants to get lost in a beautiful Scottish setting, a ten years old marriage on the rocks, a gateway holidays with some smart laughs and murder after murder to unveil an unexpected culprit for me.
If you haven’t read the author before, try it out and you won’t regret it .
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy.

I laughed out loud, I had my heart broken and I also swooned so much while reading this story. It’s perfect for any romance lovers with a great characters and banter, family, friends and life as it is.
Read it and I hope you’ll love it as much as I did.

Hell yes! Fake marriage that’s so messed up and in the same “messy” way that this author can write
I loved The Boss but I must admit that I adore Second in Command because Missy is one of my favourite heroines ever.
Marcus is all about a tough exterior in front of everyone, but his heart simply melts for Missy. Their first encounter is definitely not an ideal one, but it just really shows from the beginning what kind of hero he is and I absolutely loved how he let Missy becoming the woman that was hidden inside. Lots of suspenseful moments and lots of love, and love always wins.
“My hero.”
“Always.”

Kate Shaw is a strong female character in this standalone new book by a favourite author.
There are many characters that intrigued me, especially Suzy, and more so after her disappearance and when Michael gets interrogated about her. Somehow, between the time he leaves the police quarters and his home, he impedes a lorry and the aftermath is not a good one, leaving Kate a widow and a single mother. Of course, she believes in him and tries to protect him at all times when she has to confront all the reasons that points towards her husband as being the culprit for Suzy’s disappearance.
Some very interesting twists I haven't expected and let me doubtful of my theories. I felt bad for Kate having to deal with so much hardship and while I totally understood Suzy’s reasons to hide, the pace of these turns wasn't as I was used from the author, but overall, it all made it for a few great reading hours.

I enjoyed this book, friends to lovers, sexy doctor and lovely Manhattan that now I want to visit more than anything after reading this story and all the beautiful places the characters lived or had a date or just walked around.
Read it in one sitting and although at times it felt like dragging a bit, I understand why the need to have more about her inner thoughts and insecurities.
”It’s all about focus. Look down, and you reveal your fears. Look up, and you overthink your obstacles. The trick is to look forward,”
Yes, it takes a while till they get to accept their feelings but I laughed out loud and also felt heartbreaking for them at times.
Great writing as usual from the author and lovely story for a past thirty adults that are more focused on their careers than building a family.

A fast-paced story told in two pov, and more from then and now, from 2019, with interesting characters and so different life leading. It really intrigued me to see where the story was going with both of them because while there were similarities in both women’s life, there were so many interesting aspects that kept me wanting to know more about each one as well.
I was on the edge by the end, especially since I got to the point when I knew what’s going to happen and I actually felt sorry for Finlay.
Overall, the story brings up many emotions and deals with situations like pain, grief and emotional anxiety and teenagers and what some people think it’s best for their children and where they leave it all out.
I am glad that the author ended it like that instead of the tragic ending like it was leading on.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy
The safe place is another great thriller by a favourite author now for me.
This story has the same great pace, interesting characters and so many twists that I couldn’t stop reading until I turned the last page of this book.
We get two perspectives, one from Jessie and one from Ruth, with multiple time lines as some parts of Jessie’s past are catching up with her in here. It was interesting to see how the author has interwoven them and how we get to today’s events. What I really enjoyed was the domestic abuse and how misconceptions are still high on people’s lives.
The description says it all in here and I can’t wait to read more by the author in the future.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy.

I was so looking forward to this last instalment in the trilogy and as usual, Skye Warren didn’t disappoint at all.
The turn the story took was very unexpected and it’s full of suspenseful and heartbreaking moments for these two, but also steamy and beautiful.
The author has a way with her words and stories that will cross limits and make you fall in love with everything she writes without even noticing.
