This is a must read thriller!
I loved this book from the beginning to the last shocking twist.
I had a feeling that I knew what’s to come early in the story but that last one was very unexpected and haven’t seen it coming at all.
There are many topics included in here that many people will probably have different views but I found them interesting and may I even say , necessary for the story to take shape the way it did.
Loved it so much.

This book is something very different from my usual reads. I enjoyed it more that I thought I would to be honest.

It’s well written and the characters grow so much on me I couldn’t stop reading until I found out where everything was going in the end.

I wish I had friends like that. I felt sad for Steph and for what happened back in 1995, but I’m happy that she reconnected with her lost friends, Evie and Teresa.

I’ll be honest, I’ve left my birth place many years ago and while living in three different European countries, I’ve lost so much over the years and especially lots of friendships. This book surely made me stop and think about everything. Life choices and past decisions that could’ve changed the course of nowadays life, but while I’m happy where I am now (including my marriage), I miss that lost connection.

I’m happy that I had the chance to read this book because it fulfilled my heart with so much love and gratefulness.

New to me author and series.

Why I haven’t read this series before I honestly don’t know. I loved every second of this story.

I’m a huge fan of romance and celebrities and behind-the-scenes stories are always my go to jam.

I loved the writing and how I just couldn’t stop reading page after page. The characters are so much more than I expected and all the difficulties of their fake relationship is so well done that my heart was full and I was grinning like an idiot in so many moments.

I also loved the closure between the siblings and the support each one gets from their closed friends.

And can we talk about the steamy scenes? Because those are pure fire and perfection.

Perfect romance book for any bookworm.

Arc review

I’m finally catching up with everything and this is one of the books that I enjoyed this year. I might be a bit biased as I love everything that the author has written and I’ve read almost all of her back list catalogue over the years.
I enjoyed the story and how everything comes together in the end. As usual, she creates a very atmospheric settings with some very interesting characters and twist that are mostly unpredictable because while I thought I knew where this is going, I haven’t seen some of the turns to be honest.
My only complaint is that maybe we get a bug too much burn out about this pandemic and while it’s a very important part of the story, I would rather forget about it in my fiction reads because it’s hard dealing with it in my day by day life anyway.

To sum it up, False witness is another great story from a must read author!

Arc review from the publisher through NetGalley

My cone and only by Susannah Nix is the perfect lighthearted read for the summer.

Small town romance with two likeable characters that you can’t help but fall in love with along the way and some steamy moments when I could feel all the chemistry between Wyatt and Andie.

Not wanting to lose her inheritance, aka a beautiful old house that belonged to her grandmother, Andie has to ask for help and who can help better than her brother’s best friend Wyatt. He has to grow quite a lot throughout the story, but it was nice to be part of his arc development and he’s definitely not what the eye can meet.

The story packs much more than just a normal small town romance; it touches topics like family dynamics and lifetime friendships as well as some heartbreaking moments, but all come together in the end for a well deserved happily ever after.

A must read romance from a must read author.

Talk about reading a book in one sitting!
This story proves once again why it was one of my most anticipated read of the year or better said years now. But I’m so happy that the author took her time because it’s just the perfect romance book that you’ll fall in love with without even realising.
I loved how everything starts and while I mightn’t be so brave as Anna to start over or just give a chance to a new experience after her douche boyfriend did what he did, I was rooting for her all the way through.
Quan was the perfect hero in every possible imaginable way. Caring , assertive and very thoughtful, he was there for Anna even when he wasn’t asked for it.
There’s a few topics that are tackled here and I love how the author managed to give them voice and true colours.
Family dynamics and interventions aren’t always the best, and while I hated her sister for so many reasons, I cheered Anna on her way to break the chain and just be herself.

I really hope we’ll get to see this series on the screen soon because it’s worthy much more than anything else.

Very grateful to the publisher Atlantic Books for my review copy.

I loved this book so much
She’s the girl that’s always in the back and nobody notices her and he’s one of the elite guys in the school. One night stand makes up for lots of interesting time and how Owen is so lovable and one of my favourite hero lately. With one exception when he’s a total idiot. And I hated his mother but she redeemed herself in the end

Hidden Beauty by Amelia Wilde
The second book in the Beauty and the Beast retelling series brings us more answers and maybe even more understanding of what’s happening.
Leo and Haley are so different in so many ways but somehow, just like magnets, their story intertwined with suspenseful twists, is not an easy way for love to find its way in their hearts.
After another twisted cliffhanger, I’m so looking forward to read the next and final book and find out how this romance will tie up all the loose ends.

Lessons in sin was that kind of story that I usually avoid, but it’s so good in so many questionable ways!

I mean, taboo -check, teacher/student -check, hot and hotter scenes -check, check, check

Told in dual POV, I loved the sassy heroine and the guarded hero. Their interactions made me laugh so much and many times I’ve high five her for her quirks and naughtiness.

The end seemed rushed for me as I wanted him to grovel a bit more but was great nevertheless
