New series with new characters and interesting romance story.
I love when the characters have unusual jobs , especially in historical romance because it gives a better vibe of the times as not al of them are royalties and just go to balls and hunting.
Being a war veteran, the hero is more down to earth and compassionate about people around him and he finds a great partner in our heroine.
Communication is the key in everything even if it’s scary to open up to the other person most of the time, and the non communication thing is not in my liking here.
Chemistry and steamy scenes, great characters and interesting story overall.

I’m in love with this book.
The interactions, the banter and so many feelings from chemistry and emotions, family dynamics and acceptance of life as it is.
Sabrina and Hunter are perfect for each other and their love story is a must read one.
I was looking forward to read this book and now I need to know more about the secondary characters.

I’ve read a few of the author's books over the years and this one didn't disappoint in delivering twisted turns and shocking conclusions.

It deals with a triggering topic of marital abuse that many times goes overlooked and when it's not only the husband who is guilty of it, things go on even more over the line regarding some events.

Esme starts a crime podcast that will bring back cold cases and murders long buried. Of course there are people who will try to do everything to impede her unveiling the truths, especially since her first guest is Simone, a woman who was incarcerated for the murder of her abusive husband

There are so many twists in here that kept me wanting to know more, to discover what really happened that I had to read everything in one sitting.

If you're looking for an addictive and emotional rollercoaster ride, this thriller is definitely for you.

My thoughts: I liked it, I LOL much, it has characters that grow with the revealing of their thoughts and it’s in turns:her thoughts/his thoughts. I liked that they are normal people with normal jobs (teachers), they are friends and everyone thinks that for 3 years they have been together, he is trying to sabotage others to get on a date with her, he talks dirty and is bossy on the phone, she is approachable, has all the insecurities that a young women can have and she’s scared of what could happen if she let it go and be with him and at the end everything works out for them and the best thing that remains is that they are still the best friends. I liked the writing style, easy to read and not so much unnecessary drama. Will look for another book by this author.

His other woman was a heartbreaking story about love, relationship, marriage and second chances.
From the beginning, I had a feeling that this will be one of those raw stories that are still taboo in some ways because nothing is as easy as it looks like when coming to life decisions and what one stands for.
Middle life crisis is always interesting to see how it can change a person and this book shows it in full power.
Heartache, family drama but also lots of love that always wins , that’s how I would summarise this story.

I love a good court criminal justice case and this book was like watching the old Law and Order series.

So many scheming moments and unpredictable twists and turns, trust and disappointments. Who is behind everything in the end? That was my question at all times and I just flew through the chapters because it’s fast-paced and I was so engrossed that I completely forgot what time was or what’s happening around me. I highly recommend it.

To say that this is one of my favourite fantasy duet ever is not overstated because if you know me, I rarely read fantasy books but I fallen in love with Fable and had to continue her journey through the ups and downs of her young life.
I loved the mystery and suspenseful moments, and I loved how much she grows on all planes. Oh, and the romance side of the story was my favourite because I’m always looking forward to that in any book.
A must read duet for all book lovers.

Arc provided by the publisher Montlake through NetGalley

I love the author’s books so much and over the years I’ve read everything she has published traditional published or indie titles.

The mix tape is a beautiful romance story full of heartbreaking moments that tag at your heartstrings in so many directions but also fulfils my cravings for a great contemporary story.

After rescuing him from an altercation, and finding out who he really is, Emery struggles with a drunk Oliver to keep him safe and getting back to her house for the night.

Oliver needs to “prove” himself and the world that he is still good in the music industry even after his brother padded away and lived all his life in his shadows.

There's no story without drama and family dynamics, without so many misunderstandings and miscommunications between the characters but in true Cherry style, everything unfolds and comes together beautifully in the end.

A perfect romance for any lovers of the genre.
