For Lucy is nothing like my usual romance stories. It has so much more feelings within the pages that I don’t have words to explain what I’ve been through while reading it.
Told exclusively from his POV, it alternates between then and now chapters, this is a full length story of love , marriage, loss and struggles that many people may endure in their life, but everyone acts differently given the situations.
It goes from highs to low in seconds, from that exuberance of real love and til dead do us apart.
In true Jewel E Ann style, this is the most raw romance story that’s I’ve read in the last years.

The frozen girl was the second book that I’ve read by the author. It’s as intriguing as the first one and the mysteries and story overall kept me guessing what actually happened there throughout the book.
It was interesting to see more of Jessie’s personal life and love interest interactions. I love when a character is honest and while she haven’t liked her nurse colleague , still goes on the hunt for her killer.
There are so many twists and turns here that I haven’t predicted and that’s what makes a great story for me.
Another must read crime police procedural investigation for the lovers of the genre.

Being a new mother is difficult at all. Sleepless nights and post part I’m depression are real and very challenging topics.

While Bridget was on her way to work in her daily train run, dizzy from her exhausting routine, she witnessed a young girl abduction. After reporting it to the police, nobody believes her and everyone puts it on her mental health state and that maybe she just dreamed about it. But, as a mother herself, she can’t leave it like that. So she went on the hunt on her own, with little thought of the dangerous situations she can get herself in.

My heart broke for her so much because I can totally relate to the overwhelming feelings of being a mother and everything else she has to go through. Much more than even in our times, mental health and post pregnancy depression remains a hard topic for discussion.

The story is told at a fast pace that made me want to turn the pages faster and faster with each chapter. Lots of unexpected twists and interesting characters, especially her mother.

I love when I find new authors that surprise me in the best way.

Check it out and hopefully you’ll enjoy this book as much as I did.

I don’t think I can bring all my thoughts together to write a proper review for this book.

I’m just ... speechless.

This story took me on a hell of a ride and never let me go for one second.

The entire series packs so much raw emotions and feelings and heartbreaking moments of life and choices that will change the course of these characters’ journey in so many unexpected ways.

The first genuine love, first butterflies, first everything won't be forgotten over the years. I loved the resilience of that love and how much hope and faith that one day he will find her no matter what happens or has to go through.

As for Pearl, I had tears in my eyes so many times, I just couldn't stop thinking about her horrible living situation. It just broke my heart in so many pieces.

I know that everything I said it's makes it sound like a very sad story, but trust me, it's not. It's a very tried romance story that shows how many faces love can have and the strength of some characters to keep going and never lose faith in that love.

“A moment. And I knew this was … when darkness ends

Where are my dark romance/mafia romance lovers?

This book is definitely for you!

I love everything about the 90s and Diane nailed it in Muse.

From the title to the cover blurb and all the teasers that I’ve seen around, this story had me intrigued with every page turned throughout the book.

I loved the banter, chemistry and all the difficulties moments that Muse and Gino have to go through in this behind the scenes of New York’s Italian mafia world.

It’s dark, delicious and so good that I can’t wait to read the next books in the series.

What a great debut novel. From the moment I saw the cover and the title, I knew I must read this book ASAP. While I love going blind into most of the thrillers, this description surely sealed the deal.

After seven years of marriage with a perfect life and daughter, everything changes when one morning the police brings the news of her loved husband being investigated for murder.

What follows next is a world wind series of events that kept me engrossed in the story with each chapter.

Trying to protect her daughter and going through the unwanted fame and doubt and accusations of her knowledge about her husband atrocities, I felt so bad for Beth in most of the scenes.

Nothing is as it seems, and everyone has a past and secrets to hide.

Gripping, twisted and fast-paced story that many readers will enjoy.

I love this series and was looking forward to read Jake’s story especially after reading Queenie and King one.
We get to meet both Jake and Hanna in the previous book and their story is not what you may expect.
A second chance at love and life, full of great interaction and steamy scenes, with a big surprise and many great moments when family and friendship means everything.

Arc review

I absolutely loved this romance story. It packs everything that I’m looking in a great story. From the grumpy hero to the sunshine heroine, great interaction and steamy scenes, some wtf moments and some predictable ones, everything comes together to make for a must read story.

Kindle unlimited read

After reading Still beating, I was curious about the guy who escaped from a twenty two years imprisonment from a psychopath.
I knew this story will touch my soul and it’s a beautiful story of finding love and life again. It’s a hard, trying time for Oliver, his recovery and getting used to the now reality, very different from what he was thought to be over the years, takes him on a long ride and his feelings are very conflicted, especially when it comes to Sydney. But she’s there for him at all times and their sweet love was heartwarming and beautiful.

Audiobook

I challenged myself to read all the author’s books this year and this month is Maybe in another life.
I love a second chance romance and this one was really interesting to say at least.
There are so many moments when I said wtf is actually going on and after I got the hang of it, everything falls into place just like a big puzzle.
I was actually rooting for the tatted nurse but it wouldn’t be a second chance romance if it was ending like that
