I had this book on my tbr for way too much time and I loved it. The atmosphere, the chasing, the characters , everything was greatly done.
I had my theory about who “Jack” was and I was right but I loved it nevertheless as the suspense builds up with each chapter.
On to the next books.

I don’t think I can actually bring myself to review this book as it should deserve . I’m just saying that I loved it and if you’re looking for a great story with 3 characters that will steal your heart while breaking it in million pieces , then this is a must read book for you. There is a happily ever after even if it may not be what you expect because I surely haven’t predicted that ending.

The secrets of us by Lucinda Berry was my May prime reading choice because I love her books and couldn’t miss this opportunity.
Talk about a page turner story!
I literally read it in one sitting because it’s so pulse racing and twisted that I couldn’t stop until I knew what is actually happening and who did what.
I was expecting this but it was much more than my predictions and some of the turns were very intriguing. I loved how we get the then and now scenes, it adds so much to the whole puzzle and while I didn’t trust any of them at any time, I felt bad for each of them in many moments.
A must read story that will definitely check all your boxes for a great book.

Probably one of the best cartoonishly cover thati’ve seen and actually liked, but the story left me so disappointed.
I love a good enemies to lovers but somehow I couldn’t get to like any of the characters and their interactions just didn’t appeal to me at all.
Thanks to the publisher for my review copy through NetGalley

I enjoyed this book quite a lot.
From the first chapter, I got myself immersed into the story and wanted to know what happened to the runaway bride and what’s going to happen in her future.
It reminded me of the movie with Richard Gere and Julia Roberts.
Lots of humours moments but also heartbreaking scenes where two people find themselves drawn to each other but also need time to heal from a hard past to be able to carry forward with their relationship.

Twisted lies is another must read suspense story for everyone who enjoys the genre.
It amaze me how sometimes the author can come up with all sorts of unthinkable murder cases and how the investigation takes very unpredictable turns throughout the book.
Kim Stone is that female character that you can’t want to be friends with and have her on your side at all times. And here, she’s growing even more on me after her interactions with Tracy Frost , the local newspaper reporter that is always on her case. But while they spend time together, there’s a new understanding between them and I may go ahead and say appreciations from each side when they work as a team to unveil all the pieces of this puzzle.
Twist after twists, this book kept me intrigued with each chapter and I’m so looking forward to see what other mysterious crimes the author comes up with.

The third book in the series, The silent suspect carry on in the same place and mostly same characters that I’ve got to enjoy reading about in the previous stories.
There’s so much to take in here, all the Deaf characters and how they have to go through so much due to all the stigma that surrounds them even nowadays.
Another house on fire and another prime suspect that keeps the story interesting and intriguing.
My only negative comment in here must be for the pace of all the action, it’s much slower than I was used to from the first one and the ending was more predictable.
That being said, it’s still a great story that many readers will enjoy.

The red book is the second story in The black book series and another page-turner from a favourite author.
Over the years I read a lot of his books and I enjoyed finding new authors that he co-wrote so many stories with.
The red book is no different from his highly praised ones.
It’s full of action, never a dull moment. There are many interesting characters, ones that I got to like immediately, like detective Billy Harney, others that needed to work their way up for me to have more trust in them and their actions.
It ticks all the boxes for everything you can expect, from organised crime groups to so many twists and turns that kept me on the edge throughout the book and a few moments that hit me hard because I am an immigrant from Romania and unfortunately all those things that happened here are still true, so it’s not all fiction.
Another must-read story for all the lovers of the genre.
