Dark and delicious first instalment of a new trilogy that had me hooked from the beginning to the last page.
I don’t like power play plots usually, let alone kids in my books, but Skye Warren is a master at making me love them.
This book had me intrigued and laughing at times as well swooning over both of the main characters. And those steamy scenes?? Danger levels indeed!

I’m so curious how the next one will play and where Mr Rochester is taking his ‘want you but can’t have you’ method.

Slow slow burn, friends to lovers and family drama galore. That’s how I would recommend this book.

While I really hate slow burn romance, this story was just perfectly written for it. I wouldn’t have it either way honestly.
There’s so much a single person can handle at once and Vanessa felt like drowning but I loved how she tried her best to make the most of it when she was around hit guy next door, Adrian.
He was there for her every step of the way and I loved how caring and sensible he is. How can I not live a hero like that?

Another great story that many readers will enjoy for sure.

Very grateful to the publisher Little, Brown Book Uk for my review copy

Over the years I have read quite a few of James Patterson’s books and this story was another reason while I always choose to read crime and police procedural books over other types.
When the opportunity of finding a missing woman and her child arises, The woman’s murder club takes over the case and they worked together to discover what’s actually happening behind all these crimes as more bodies show up and the prime suspect is not going to be the only one for a long time.
I was invested in the close friendship of the team and how they complement each other in more than one aspect. The twist and turns of the story kept coming and while I was looking forward to read the ending, I had my theories of what was happening and this time I was right.
Enjoyable and captivating story that many readers will enjoy.

The devil in her bed by @kerriganbyrne is probably my favourite historical romance book from the last few years. I love this book so much and Francesca is my favourite heroine ever. Her strength but also sensible side, had me crying for her at times but also wanting to hug her and cheer her out loud.
The chemistry, the banter and all the emotions and suspense in this story kept me up all night and I never wanted to let them go.
If you are going to read a historical romance story this year, choose this one and you won’t be disappointed.

Weights of Wrath was a nice touch in the Green Valley universe.
I liked Cherise/Rosalind quite a lot as a strong heroine that did everything in her power to change her life around for a better one after she finds out she's pregnant. With or without Joey's help, she's all in.
I can't say if i liked him too much but i did enjoyed his transformation from a free hot guy to becoming a father.
I rarely enjoy secret pregnancy and while this one wasn't exactly secret, it was an enjoyable story with some dry humor and reliable situations as a mother myself.

Such an interesting and unexpected story!
I was intrigued by so many reviews and I finally found the time to read it.
I must admit that I’ve read it in one sitting because it kept my interest from the first chapter and wanted to know what’s going to happen with the newlyweds and what life’s going to bring in for them.
I loved the medical research and how the author has included it here, so many psychological aspects and I wanted to know more why Sam was acting like that and what actually happened with his mother. I loved her letters . There were a few things that didn’t work for me as in why Annie didn’t do more to look him up but that hasn’t stopped me from enjoying the story overall.
And that ending was very unexpected, to be honest.
I can easily see why it’s a must read story and I highly recommend it.

What may be funny for some people, it could be a hard time for others. Being pranked is no fun for the person who gets the other end of the joke, and, unfortunately, often we don’t think about the consequences of it and how that can impact someone’s life, whether it’s for a short- or long-term frame.

I loved this book so much.

From the first chapter, I wanted to know more and see where this story is going to take me.

As with most thrillers, there are bits and pieces of the puzzle left by the author throughout the book so that the reader can make their assumptions and then get to that end turn when you can say Yes! I knew it!

For me, with this book, I was actually in the other team because from what I thought I knew and made my theories, none of them was right.

And that’s what makes a great story for me.

Page after page, this book will keep you engrossed and willing to read it without a break.

Dare and Bay are that couple that you love so much but it takes a long rollercoaster ride for them to see that light at the end of the tunnel and Maya has done something different but so beautiful with this trilogy.

I love second chance romance and I always want to know more about them, those years ago when everything started, those first butterflies and hidden smiles and kisses.

The art of falling for you is the perfect way to start a great love story and my heart broke a little when I finished it, but I know the author won’t disappoint me with the next instalments.

I love this book and this couple so much. It's a prequel to Commander in briefs, a book and a series that if you haven't already, you need to read it ASAP.
It was so good to go back and see how everything started between Theo and Ali . From their friendship to their adult life, with all the ups and downs, through all the first kiss, first butterflies feelings and heartbreak and happiness and loving someone who isn't next to you but life has a way to turn around our life in so many ways and it also gives us opportunities and decisions to take. I always said, you have to choose happiness and love above everything else.
Read the book and you'll be hooked from the first page as I was.
