The first part of the story
Slow start, same old story about girl meets boy, they get married and she gets pregnant. He lives his life in full while she stays at home. On and off again and again over the years. The kids grow up and here’s where the things start to be a bit more interesting.
The second half
Way too many characters and a bit difficult to keep up with everything and everyone as we are told a bit of a back story for each one of them and how they go on their daily routine. I honestly felt like I needed a map to remember who is who and what they are to each other.
Somehow the girl gets to live part of her mothers' life and that part wasn’t funny at all.
They have a big party and there are a few twists that I haven’t seen coming my way.
Overall it’s a good book, one that I’m sure many will love and rightly so because it’s well done and it resembles the 80’s lifestyle and crazy times.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

Natasha Knight is the queen of mafia romance and my favourite authors for dark and twisted stories.
This duet is the proven-track of it.
The wounded hero that looks for revenge and finds himself between a rock and his own beating heart and the woman that was born in a family that doesn't care at all for the female characters and she's only a mean to an end, a pawn in everyone's game.
Their banter and everything that an arranged marriage entails in mafia wars will bring out the worst and the best of both Scarlett and Cristiano.
Dark, twisted and steamy, this is a story that many lovers of the genre will enjoy.

I love the author’s books and this one was a bit different from what I was used to but different in a great way.
Friends to lovers from friends with benefits is not always a smooth road to experience but after all the ups and downs and especially after realising how much they mean to each other, these two are finally caving and accept that well deserved happily ever after.
I enjoyed the sizzling chemistry and the smart banter, as well as the reliable moments and how they grown as characters especially since they are both still young and invested so much in their future. Being truthful to themselves and their feelings, I was really happy to see that he didn’t take advantage when he could and come up clean with everything.
A beautiful, steamy and heartwarming love story

Really good thriller and first book to start a series with.
It gave me many feelings of Midsummer Murders and the suspense was on with each page turned .
Probably the most interesting thing that I enjoyed was that the author managed to keep me invested throughout the book and the secret life that many of the characters/suspects were undergoing was a twist that I haven’t predicted.
A must read story.

It was my first book by the author but won’t be the last, especially after reading this heartbreaking and beautiful written story.
I haven’t read many novels sets in early 1900, much more American ones, so many things that happened here are somehow new and interesting for me.
But, as a mother, I can relate to some of the moments that our heroine goes through and sacrificing everything for your children is the most important duty of a mother.
There are parts where I felt like stalling as there are somewhere maybe I needed more insight or details/answers.
Overall it’s a great historical novel that many readers will enjoy and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

I loved this series so much.
The fearless characters, the powerful story about what matters the most in life under any circumstances and that’s family, the one you were born as well as the one you make for yourself, how each one will do everything and anything they think is needs to be done to keep everyone safe, especially in their job field and how truth you their believes they stayed.
The suspense and what will happen next just kept me on the edge at all times and the romance story was pure fire.
I can’t wait to see what the author has in the hat for us next.

I’m always up for a psychological thriller and this story was one of those that you can easily read but has so many layers upon layers that need to be discovered and discussed.
Told in the main characters pov, even the villain one, I enjoyed each one of the monologues and how they lived and felt the moments when they were locked together.
Mental health illness is not something that you can see, most of the times it’s Hidden in Plain View but goes deep into one’s soul.
It’s a gripping and interesting story that many readers will surely enjoy it as I did.

I love a good contemporary romance story and Maybe we will market all the boxes in my cards.
From the beautiful setting to the first sparks of falling in love, their banter and chemistry were just perfectly balanced with the angsty past of each one of them.
Trying to protect their hearts, each had flaws and falls in being able to fully open up but, let’s be honest, who hasn’t hesitated when a relationship is at the beginning and there’s so much to learn about the other person.
A charming and entertaining love story that will take you on a ride to chase the happily ever after.

Yes, I’m late to the party but only because I didn’t want it to end, didn’t want to cross that finish line with these characters and their incredible love story.
The third and last book in the series, The finish line was just the perfect ending I could have asked for from a story full of angst, anger and suspense, with so many twists and turns, with characters that held my breath with their actions and chemistry and banter that I couldn’t ask for anything more.
If there is one word that I would describe this story, that would be Perfection.

This story was a page turner and gripping thriller for sure.
From the beginning to the last, I knew I was in for a ride and what a ride it was. Some predictable twists but mostly intriguing turns that kept me on the edge and I was wondering how everything will unfold because it all started as a game of cat and mouse but it becomes much more that than.
Addictive and great story overall.
