This was my first book by the author but now I’m hooked and want to read more books by her because I really enjoyed this story and there are characters that I’m looking forward to their road to finding that well deserved happily ever after.
It’s dark and steamy and beautiful at the same time.
If you look for a new indie romance story this one is for you.

This series is so hyped and have seen it everywhere for years now so I needed to know why and if the hype is on my liking as well.
I can totally see why now, it’s a great written book with interesting characters and a romance that needs to bloom in the future books.
It’s a very slow burn one though and not my usual pick up story but now I do need to read the next ones because it’s just addictive.

I was looking for a fast paced story with enough twists and turns to keep me engaged but that won’t go too deep into description or details and let’s the reader imagination running wild and then I stopped on this book from ku recommendations. I’m so happy that I took a chance to it and went in blind because this was definitely a ride and now I need to know more about the Lawyer and his cases.

This was my first book by the author and the premise and characters are so well done that it made me wanting to look up the places and maybe dream to visit something similar someday.
Both Nora and Jake were heartbroken and trying to made amends with their life and maybe dreaming at a better future where love can be the main focus.
The word build is has so many feelings and angsty moments and it's not a light beach read at all but one with serious topics that life can throw in the path of anyone.
I personally avoid or plainly said hate stories with accidental pregnancy because that makes the happily ever after based only on the situation created , no matter how much the author will try to convince me that's not the case, i just can't get over it unfortunately.
It's a great romance overall that many will love but not a favorite for me.

It's very unusual and frown upon when a high society member marries or even have connections that are brought up to light with someone under their social status, but there are always exceptions of the norm and this short story will show exactly that.
I loved Eloise and her character is very different in a great way from other regency heroines , she is her own persona, has dreams and dignity and won't let others to step upon them.
William is a hero that i hate to love many times while reading their story, he is untrusty and can come as a disappointment because it takes a lot of time and persuasion for him to actually do what his heart wants and not being the snob he needs to pretend he is in front of other people.
It's short and a fast read that many historical romance lovers will enjoy

Back in the game is a continuation of The boss , a book that i've really enjoyed and this one is up to my expectations as well.
I loved how the author has created Grace, our main heroine , she's strong and fearless, but also human and that motherly instinct will never leave her even if she run away from the past and the world she was brought up.
Same fast paced, twisted mysterious and thrilling story that i highly recommend for for the lovers of the genre.

A debut story full of moments that will take you on a rollercoaster ride without doubt.
It's so interesting how our brain has a life of it's own and makes us forget or just block out sensitive and trauma moments from our life.
The story is told in then, 2001, and now 2016 scenes, with multiple pov, with so many triggering topics but these are bringing more awareness of how cruel the world we live in can be at times.
It's a brilliant thriller that many readers will enjoy all the edge of the seat, dark and twisted scenes , some predictable, some very unexpected, a hard to digest story at times but a must read novel for sure.
NetGalley arc, all opinions are my own

As a thriller lover i was so looking foreword to this book because that description it really draws attention.
It starts off really good, with a serial killer on a hunt over decades and his inheritance passed over, with dark places where i personally would be scared to cross on my way, with a mental health institute where we all know that everything is not at all what it looks like and with a terrified mother when her daughter is abducted and her chances of survival are getting to a minimal with each hour.
I must admit that i hat to put a stop a few times and maybe even reread parts of the story because it's told in multiple pov and i just got lost along the way , especially after the first half. Personally i found it pretty predictable after i got a hold of who is who and what everyone is doing, but i was also disappointed in other aspects of the story and hence the lower star rating. In my opinion it could've been done better , it felt too rush at times or just underdeveloped.

Perfect life, perfect house and perfect family, no? One can never know what actually happens behind the closed doors, and many times , the truth is unsetting.
Firstly, i want to go visit all the beautiful places where this story is plotted because the author has a magical way with her words to draw you in a place of such beautiful scenarios that you will never want to leave.
The story tackles a lot of topics that may trigger some readers and it's definitely not a case of love triangle, but a case of living in fear and abusive relationship because she though is the right way to pay for a past mistake. The husband is so controlling and will always decide what she wears or where she goes, who she can see, so that's a hard part of the book to read because , in all honestly, we all know these kind of men are real but , in fiction i try to stay away of these characters.
The story is beautifully written but i was put off by the plot overall as i stated beforehand why.

As a mother, it's hard to overcome the death of your only child and Cassie is no exception here. Her husband is supportive in every possible way but there's not much he can actually do in reality. Then comes an unexpected twist when a young woman with a baby appear at their doorsteps pretending that she's Josh's wife and his baby. Of course that she takes then in even doubting Kim as she never heard of her , let alone knowing she's a grandmother now. And now it's when the story gets more interesting because , with the new girlfriend appearance, there a mysterious trail of letters in her postmail every so often and that swifts the whole plot to another level.
I've heard great things about the author's books and even if it's just the first for me, overall it was a gripping story but way too predictable for my liking.
Many thanks to the publisher for my review copy through NetGalley. My opinions are my own.
