Resurrection by Wendy Million is live and I recommend this book to all the romantic suspense lovers.
It was great to go back and get to know more about The Donaghey Brothers, Finn and especially Carys, a fierce and stormy female character that I wish she was a real person and my friend.
The suspense kept me on the edge from the first page to the last throughout the book and the chemistry is definitely of the charts between them.
I just loved every single word of this beautiful story about family and friends and loyalty and most of all, the power of love that can move mountains in the end.

This story was a great escape from the daily challenges and I enjoyed it quite a lot. The humour in it made me laugh out loud so much and there are so many great things to think about while reading it.
I recommend it for a great summer reading night.

I’ve seen this book everywhere and had to see for myself why the hype.
It’s a story full of great characters and life hardships but not so angsty. A story about life, family and the connection between the adopted brothers, their inheritance and the small neighbourhood they lived most of their life.
I would give it more of 3.5 stars because when the description says it’s a romance story, I need all the challenges and character development that comes from their interactions and all the feelings they have to face and accept at the end for that happily ever after, things that unfortunately aren’t explored at its full capacity in this book in my opinion.
If you like a life situation fiction with a romance subplot, then this book is definitely for you.
Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for my review copy in exchange for an honest review.

I don’t usually read historical romance set in the 1900 but I have read a review that made me look this book up and here I am trying to convince you to give it a try because this book was just amazingly great.
It’s steamy and the chemistry and scenes between the characters had me blushing so much. I loved the writing and the overall experience while reading this story and it’s very interesting to see that this is a debute novel and I’m so looking forward to the next books in the series.
Very grateful to the publisher @harlequinbooks for my review copy

I wanted to read this book right after I finished The coffee girl as we were introduced to the characters in that story.
I loved a bit more than the first one though. I feel like it was better on all fields, from the writing to the characters and the story overall.
I’m looking forward to read the next book in the series.

There are books that get you in from the first page and books that make you want to give it up in a blink. But if you’re like me and rarely DNF a book, this one is definitely for you. I was so lost at the beginning of this story that I had no idea where are we going with everything but after the half part, bits of the puzzle started to be put out together and the overall plot made much more sense for me.
There are so many unbelievable/unrealistic twists and scenes but , like in real life, anything can happen at any time of the day so you have to take them as they came and deal with it.
The main characters are flowed and just perfect with all their imperfections as the author develops them. I really hope we’ll get to read more about this and maybe a series is coming up.
If you want to try something new, a bit unexpected, then give this one a try.

When you see the cover and read the blurb, you expect to like the story and characters. The main character has to "grow up" within the pages and learn from her mistakes as well as change into a better person.
None of these things happened here unfortunately. I kept reading because i never dnf a book and still hoped for a better ending but , i just couldn't get over so many errors and scenes that seemed so everywhere over the place. No chemistry, no redemption, just a very unlikable heroine that goes from mistake to more mistakes in a blink of the eye.

It's been a hot moment since I've read a contemporary romance with so much fun and light angst overall.
I enjoyed it quite a lot, the family dynamics, the friends to lovers plot, great banter and steamy scenes, everything was well mixed for a great few hours of reading in a Saturday afternoon.
It actually felt like seeing a Hallmark movie with a happily ever after.
I'm looking foreword to the next books in the series because the secondary characters have done a great impression on me in this book.

Eddie's Boy is my first book by the author but won't be the last for sure.
I always enjoyed stories where the hero is actually the villain and to discover what made them taking the decision of becoming part of the mafia or just working solo, it's an interesting concept for me.
The story is very well written and had me engaged from the first page to the last, with barely time for breaks because i found myself lost into the fast-paced action and twists and turns that kept coming at me with every chapter.
It's told in the present and past, then and now, how Michael Schaeffer, a retired sixty years old man is trying to catch up with his past and find out why the mafia is on his shadow. We get to read how he learned to be a hitman in the early years of his life and what a whirlwind his life has been.
It's suspenseful and I highly recommend it to the lovers of the genre

I really enjoyed the first book in the series and because the women friendship was so strong and beautiful made, I was looking forward to this second book in the series.
Same beautiful aesthetics set up with many great characters and a very good mix of personalities, the story is definitely not exactly what I was expecting.
I liked the witty banter and smart retort, all the challenging moments and the steamy romance scenes but, personally, I don’t enjoy an age gap romance, more so when kids are involved. Just a personal feeling.
The story overall is very interesting and great and many people will enjoy it.
