I thought I knew it all about the conclusion of Cassy and Frank’s story but there’s so much more into it.

So many feelings, so many heartbreaking moments and scenes, so much to overcome and deal with. But as always, love is stronger than anything and although it takes a long time, it will heal and bring light into everyone’s life.

Do I agree with every choice the characters have had? No, but again, in real life nobody is perfect and I’m happy to read about flawed people and their mistakes and how they find a way out.

It’s a very emotional story and treats many issues that are raw and not easy to deal with but I loved it.

I’m really ashamed to say that I’m Romanian and haven’t read this book or the author before because it’s simply amazing and the translation was perfect in every possible way.
I loved to go back to my birth city and be reminded of how much the political influence impacts on every single day and institutions, especially in that period time when everything was still unsure and people were still hanging on the memory of the communist era.
It's atmospheric and suspenseful, it shows the real and hidden face of those that will step on dead bodies to gain power and privilege.
A must-read story for thriller lovers and especially if you want to have a peek inside one of the most beautiful European countries.

A nice enjoyable read with a second chance romance and a lot of great food talk. I mean, I wanted to put the book down and start cooking or baking something really

I enjoyed the author’s previous books and this story didn’t disappoint at all.
What would you do if someone that you tried to help and safe her life would blame you for her attack?
A fast-paced read with many twists and turns, many secrets to unveil and some interesting characters.
I’m not sure if I agree with all the Take the problem in your own hand if you want to find the truth as it’s the case here and in many books that I’ve read lately but it’s interesting to see how the author created an in the unlikely event story.
Another must-read from a must-read author.

I’ve been a fan of this duo for a long time now and since this book was recommended so much everywhere I had to read it as well.
I enjoyed the family interactions and connections along with all the drama that comes along especially when a wedding is happening very soon and everyone wants to be perfect. What should be the most unforgettable day in one's life it turns out to be quite a tragicomedy and the maid of honour with the best man have to take on a fake honeymoon because you know, everything is paid and can be wasted. From now on, we get to spend a lot of time with these two characters that are like enemies at all times but secretly lust for each other.
I can’t say I loved any of them but I grow fond of their support for the family and friends.
There’s chemistry but, for me, I couldn’t seem to get that they are meant to be vibe.
It’s a must-read that many people will enjoy

The description of this story had me wanting to read it asap but unfortunately, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting.
The first half of the book is a fast-paced read with a lot of scary and edge of your seat moments, a lot of questions like Who and Why and How? And Is this for real? I don’t think I’ll be having the same behaviour as the heroine especially having my daughter with me and not knowing what is actually happening and what to answer to her questions. In my opinion, the daughter felt a bit older or more mature in her interaction with her mother. The second half of the book felt dragging a lot and quite repetitive in many moments but the end was a surprise as it has an unexpected twist.
Overall it’s a good book, my first by the author and I’ll definitely try other stories by her.

I enjoyed this story. It has a lot of interesting characters and together are adding for a fast-paced, suspenseful book with a few twists and a splash of romance.
Childhood trauma is never easy to live with but Cate is looking forward to doing something more meaningful with her life in her twenties. The past is catching up and there’s a beautiful love story with a boy,now a man that helped her in the past but also a very bumpy road as someone wants revenge and they are on her at every turn of the street.
Why not five stars? I felt like many moments and parts in the middle of the book were a bit unnecessary or dragging. I can’t really say I like any of the characters, maybe Lily, she was just like the aunt you hate but trust with your darkest secrets.

I love this couple and their story. It’s so real and all the feelings and moments together, as well as inner monologues and their chemistry, are adding up to another great book in the Pennyverse world.
Battling a hard past, an ugly divorce and future that doesn’t look to bright, I loved how the chemistry and banter between Willa and Everett blooms from friendship to a beautiful love story.
I liked the first book Crimes and Periodicals and can’t wait to read the next one as well.
I’m always looking forward to new authors to read and this book sealed my list for another favourite and must-read author.

A very good debut story, well written and and interesting characters overall.
I liked the connection between the main characters and their chemistry as well as the banter.
It’s darker than I thought it will be but it’s well balanced between the suspense moments as twists and sweet blooming love story.
I’m looking forward to read more by the author in the future.

Some love stories are sweet and easy to read and feel bringing you a smile on your face, some are more angsty and suspenseful, but there are also stories that will break your heart in pieces and have you in tears for almost every page turned. Just like this one. Candle and his heroine have passed through hell along the way, sometimes together, sometimes separately but their feelings towards each other never faded.
Together they overcome the loss of fate in their love, in their life and gained that small hope that maybe, just maybe, the future will be a bit brighter and clear just like the ocean breeze.
It’s angsty, it’s darker and more unexpected but it’s also real and it shows how true to themselves some people are willing to commit for a lifetime no matter how much they suffer.
