oh man, those last few pages gave me chills. i really hope we get to see more sookie and hunter interactions and that she can make the road easier for him than it was for her. i think that would really help her make peace with and heal from her childhood 😢

My favorite in the series so far! The main mystery and subplots have never meshed so well, and Sookie’s actions are a lot less frustrating here (fewer “why are you going into the dark creepy basement where you heard a suspicious noise alone???” type moments)
