I thought this was going to be super predictable, and that I saw everything coming - but it still managed to surprise me!! I dont have the patience to just let a thriller unfold, I can't help but wonder and predict, which more often than not ruins twists for me... but this one still managed to twist it up without me for seeing- hooray!!!

I love that this isn't a coming out story, or about facing homophobia. Those stories are needed and extremely valid, but Laura Dean brings a breath of fresh air to the world of queer stories, and I love it. Queer people are people... which means they have the capacity to be kinda shitty people, like everyone does. We need stories about all kinds of queer people.
Love, love LOVE the complexity and layers these characters get to have.
