One of the only audiobooks I have ever listened to in one sitting - this was so we executed.
I didn't think it was possible, but I may in fact love this book even more than Gentleman's Guide. Felicity is the heroine that every single woman needs. Scrap that, she is the heroine that *everyone* needs.
Never once does she tip into a Mary-Sue; she knows her strengths and she manages her weaknesses, while being badass who keeps learning and growing!
The exploration of class, privilege and feminism intersect beautifully here, with characters being confronted by their own prejudices in a way that allows them to be examined and challenged. Girl gangs and intersectional feminism, hooray!!

This is a book that I want/need to keep returning to. Although I devoured it in one sitting, I already have started rereading, going back, making notes... what a heartbreaking, visceral read.
2.5 - maybe.
There were parts in this I really enjoyed, but I just don't think that the story was well executed
