4.5 - almost a 5. I think the sheer length is what stopped this from being one of my new favs. There were parts, especially with Caroline that could have been condensed and still had the same impact.
I am on a huge historical fiction kick at the moment, and found this to be a heart wrenching, difficult but poignant read.

fascinating read

Well, that was just freaking adorable.
Although this is a very light, very fluffy, very cheesy contemporary, I loved the way it handed relationships - romantic, platonic and familial.
