I have historically struggled with mythology retellings, but I really enjoyed this. The story was easy to understand despite involving a lot of characters & things I wasn’t familiar with, it reminded me a lot of The Book of Longings in a historical feminism type way. I definitely want to learn more about the Ramayana now!

knew I would love & I did! I have such a strange fascination with presidential history and the royals, of course, so this was great. Similar energy to Red White & Royal Blue but I liked that the familiar & friendship angles added to this.

I could not put this down! Elin is just truly the best. This is such a heartwarming and immersive story, I have never wanted to be in a fictional place as much as I want to stay at The Hotel Nantucket! I also absolutely must have a meal at The Blue Bar like… you’re kidding. Sometimes I struggle with lots of characters & exposition, but I loved this and found it easy to keep track of everyone once I was a few chapters in. It even had a few fun unexpected twists!

Perfect little beach read! I didn’t realize it was going to be a mystery but i really enjoyed it

This book is way too long. The end of chapter 71 made it slightly redeeming. I think everyone who loves this series has never read a book before

I like the way Lisa Taddeo writes but this book was very weird. I liked yet was also upset by all of the intrusive thoughts happening? They were strange yet often realistic. I think I would’ve liked this more on audio

Loved, just as I expected I would. I’d say this is my least favorite of the TJR cinematic universe, which is saying a lot since I loved this & couldn’t put it down. I like that this showcased a different type of protagonist- one that is far from relatable in her life, yet extremely relatable in her emotions (as much as we might not want to relate to her). Idk, knowing TJR’s typical writing I did expect a little more from this- especially at the end- and felt like some things could’ve been wrapped up better/were glossed over far too quickly (although I also FLEW thru so that could be why). This was a great way to wrap up this little world I feel like I’ve become a part of.
