Not gonna lie, the plot was highly predictable. But Dani was a very interesting character to read from the point of view of, as well as most of the other characters and the writing was pretty enjoyable. So, 3.5

:( I want more. It was so good and now I am stranded, sequel-less in this subpar reality.

I cant remember much since I read this like two years ago, so.

It was very... bland. I read this because I wanted to find out why all that weird stuff was going on in the Next Together. Also because I was confused about the ending.

The plot was pretty interesting but it’s very confusing to read about time travel. It has never really been my go to genre. It was also very annoying Ella kept telling Clove what she was going to do. The romance was bland and not really well developed. Also, the author had shown us more things instead of telling us about them.

The Darkest Minds

DID NOT FINISH

I dnfed it at around 75% because I actually watched the movie first and throughout the movie all I could think was: 'This cannot possibly not be based on a book.' And that, my friends, is how you know a movie is good, although the book is almost always better. Unless, its the Percy Jackson movies. We don't talk about that.

But I digress. I stopped reading because I am a baby and cannot cope with severe emotional damage like I knew was going to come, so I stopped. Ill probably pick it up some day again. Also, dystopia is not my thing.
