This was like the lovely bones book but modern and no murder. There were lines in my arc version that made me smile and slam the book down. Its a romance a story about love but also the platonic kind between family and friends. This is why I dont want to live with regrets. Love there is disabled rep specifically to multiple sclerosis aka MS.

First off I want to thank Sierra for completing my collection so far. I honestly was not sure if this would vibe with me. A lot of the girlies are die hard swifties and although I like the music I dont get the references. But with this book I didnt need to. Not many books have the death of a spouse into new love trope & this one was done well. My one critique is spelling cum as come (I hate it). It was a cute story with top tier spice smut in about 3-4 chapters.

This is a magnificent debut novel that gave me all the feels and I devoured in less than 72 hours. So much spice and cliches that made my heart swell, lol, & get through my depressive episode. I don't love that the fmc is the only bipoc person nor that the love interests are white cis hetero (and the other characters) but the book list to the soundtrack and just overall romance storyline with complication relationships with family really hit the spot for me.

This book is gay romance drama life pain wrapped in a rainbow. I really relate to emmetts character and feeling about love being afraid to be hurt even still at 24. Queer ness has flexibility but also limitations. I enjoyed this book so much I want to cry. I got to finish it at work and I have so many thoughts and feelings. If I am ever to be in a relationship I'd say I want a little of of the cute non clout chasing highs and lows. To grow together one day if thats my destiny. (Review of arc version)

Justice for Alice chen. I wish the love interests were not white cis men. I think book three will be interesting. So many twists and turns. I found myself getting angry. I want better for black women fictional and real. Bree just suffers. Well done except for the white men.

Really a shocking end in the arc version. Wish Sloane was bipoc. Glad Sloane was not end game. Very interesting and sad story.

This is my first book by the author. I am familiar with her because of the show "first kill" I am so glad I enjoyed this action magical fantasy. I am excited to read book two.

Dr. Harris wrote an educational memoir on the ugly truths of American education for black women. My family are immigrants and im the first for my caregivers to go to college and have a career from it. A lot of American history I learned in school or from others. This book overfill the gaps from any self research I could have done. I'm aware of white supremacy living in this country in a black body hard not to. This books is sad. I feel really sympathetic to the author and her suffering. I'm tired of black people suffering. I really hope she comes out of debt, continues to love & be loved healthily, have kids if she wants, and become free from the trauma as much as possible.

I am a solo practicing  black jamaican descent pagan. I know the author does not want this book to be used to educate I still found it valuable and informative to the craft. I can reuse this throughout my life. Thank you for sharing. I do wish the images were in color.
