Read like a historical spy novel that just happened to take place on the moon?
Oh, and the narrator was a 50-something woman who was far from perfect but still an absolute bad-ass. The other Lady Astronaut books were good, but this one I loved even with its minor flaws.

Very atmospheric - if Victorian gothic fae is your thing, I'd definitely give this a try. It gave me strong Crimson Peak (Guillermo del Toro) vibes as well.
