I ended up enjoying my second read through quite a bit more than my first. All the little bits and bobs that I could identify from other stories made me smile, and still - my favorite character is Silas.

This has to be one of the most thorough books I've read. History? Science? Math? Culture? All of the historically and literally relevant elements of Typography seem to be contained within this book. This includes some truly hilarious turn of phrase and wacky history facts!

If you have even a passing interest in Typography this is a great book to check out.
