You don't need to be a manager, or even an aspiring manager, to read this book - you just have to work with people. I don't agree with everything in this book, but it does give you plenty of food for thought about work and the people you work with.

I recommend this to anyone who works in an office environment whether you have a great boss, a so-so boss, or a horrible one.

The frank honesty in most of these letters made me re-think what I consider success.

The recommendation at the beginning of the book suggests picking a few letters from each section - I ended up reading all of them. Whether you are young, old, satisfied or still hungry for more, I would highly recommend reading this book. The greatest resource we have is other people and this book is filled to the brim with just that, people.

That was a fun read - it felt like talking with a fellow book lover :-)
