I really enjoyed this short horror story. It kept me in a state of both wanting the main characters to succeed while also hoping they fail too. I was also intrigued to see the outcome if they failed. I was surprised by the amount of character development in such a short but dynamic book.

The plot of this one was fantastic for me. I enjoyed the character development too and I didn't work out what was happening until I was supposed to. The only thing that took me out of the story sometimes was the writing style was very stream of consciousness and although, I believe it was a good choice for the story it is something I struggle with reading. 

I was obsessed with Sweet Valley High as a pre teen and was curious to see if it stood up the test of time. It gets two stars from me simply for the fact this series got me into reading. However, I do feel that it is a potentially damaging series to have such young people reading. There’s no diversity at all which adding that to complete focus on beauty equating to worthiness/success/love etc. I can honestly say I am completely disheartened.
