Well I was not expecting that. I think this is the first Marvel Now read. This is really modern so took some adjusting. I've heard of these characters but never experienced them. Twas a good start though.

I need to find a better version. It started off okay then, I'm guessing because the editor cherry picked which storied to include, went all over the place. Some of the longer stories were very convoluted for no reason that I could see. I don't know, maybe I'm over thinking this but I can't help it.

2.5 stars. I can't lie this one was tedious. I zoned out a lot throughout the middle of it. The repetition as Ciri was telling how she escaped was annoying. We get it, they were hidden in a forest where no one could find them. I'm also getting tired of the cliffhanger endings. The action always ramps up at the end, the guys we're routing for win and just as they are about to take the next step in the journey the book ends. I tolerated this book. Can't wait to end it all in the next book.
