It wasnt bad but the whole time I knew it wouldn't be more than 3 stars. It just wasn't that interesting to me. Good thing it was only available on Hoopla. If I wasn't getting through it so fast I would've stopped. And the sapphic element was so slow burn I thought everyone imagined it. They only kissed at the very end. They thought about each other but with the male friend confusing things, it could've just been good friends. That's okay too. But I feel if I hadn't read it was sapphic beforehand I densely would've been surprised at the end, lol. Speaking of the male friend, he seemed superfluous. Maybe a plot convenience. Lastly, I'm just learning it's a Rapunzel retelling. I can see that in the beginning. What I like is the princess saves herself aspect and that this doesn't just become a paranormal mask of the same exact story. Overall it was okay.
I liked this better than the previous one but it's still a bit disjoined with seemingly unconnected storylines. The last two chapters seem to be the start of a new arc though.

Low key proud I recognized several historical events and figures. This was a very quick read. Truly relatable. And somehow fun. They didn't hold back from sharing the harsh details but there was also some great humor.
Another seeming filler volume. It wraps up the events from the last volume. Then starts 3 more that seem unrelated. Knowing this series they'll lead to something eventually. But it made for a less enjoyable volume.
Oh this was fun. Loved the little twists so I didn't know what was coming. Clever characters are always endearing to me. The world as always is one I want to fall into. So this being a novella, I couldn't get enough of it. But everything is complete. Also the goddesses, among others were funny. I agree with Victor LaValle P. Djèlí Clarke couldn't write a bad book if he tried.
This was cute. Aoki is dramatic as usual but I think Ida likes it, even though he's the opposite. Aoki deciding things because he can't get a read on Ida, once again. But with some help they actually communicate. I hope this relationship works out. Aida and Hashimoto on the other hand. I guess we'll see. I need to read these quicker since there's only 9 volumes.
I really enjoyed this. The artwork is stunning and the story caught my attention.
Kinda meh ending but you could see that coming. These are not things to fix or solve in life in one school semester. It's cool they got a mentor and really buckled down on the business side of things. It was inspiring in that sense.
