fun, easy read however nick felt underdeveloped and i’m not entirely sure chloe really overcame her hyper-independence by the end,,

ALSO chloe and annie’s acrguennt seemed to be resolved??? so quickly??? i feel like if my best friend wrote a movie about my life without my permission and i wasn’t okay with it, there would’ve been more of a discussion but the author seemed to move past it all pretty quickly.

sorry to say i skimmed the final 100 pages,, wasn’t a bad book but i keep reading christina lauren books with the hope i’m going to enjoy it or even care about the characters but i just…..never do.

i really wanted to like this. i liked the setting, and the premise, and the plus size representation. but i didn’t like any of the characters??? being in allison’s brain was so exhausting and colin SUCKEDDD. and NOTHING happened in this book for so long i ended up just skimming the second half and i don’t think i missed anything at all. sad bc the authors note and acknowledgements are really lovely but i just did not enjoy this much at all :(
