I'm interested to see how the Cascade is going to keep affecting the angels 👀 

Okay, so I missed a ton of this book listening to it and now I'm a little worried about the next lmao

Me: This series read is just going great
My brain: She is a liar who can't focus on the audiobook narrator for some reason 

"I don't want to hurt you"
"Baby, the only way you'd hurt me is by not sitting on my face. You're killing me here."
"That seems a bit dramatic"
"If I wanted to be dramatic, I would have said I'd be honored to die of suffocation by pussy. Imagine that on a gravestone." 

It was interesting to have a few chapters with the other characters! Butttt I was a little bored and I am still fully on board with the fact that I just don't like the narrator 🫠 

I feel like I’m not asking for much when I say I want a guy who will come into the bakery I work at and pay full price for a bagel but only ask for half knowing you don’t eat enough and will eat the other half he paid for after he’s gone.

It’s not a big ask. He also must be willing to accept hand necklaces and be a virgin.

So this wasn’t super bad, it just was great either. It had potential in the beginning and middle, I was intrigued. But then it started to move fast, like all the sudden moments that lacked depth, emotion, or reason.

Also, like half the characters died in this book lmao and I didn’t care one bit because it was just written so basic that I felt nothing.
