Why did I have the desire to watch Jurassic Park after I finished reading this book?

It was a bit slow to start--as expected, nothing interesting happens until they actually reach the Mariana Trench--but after that things pick up. Then you get people's faces being eaten off, which is what I was there for. It gave me the same vibes the OG Jurassic Park movie does--people are getting torn apart and eaten and everyone is running around trying to avoid a messy death while all the safety features are failing. So much fun.

Unfortunately for this graphic novel, I watched the Netflix adaptation first. Although even if I hadn’t, I don’t think I would have cared for this story anyway. As it is, I kept comparing the characters to the show, and in every respect, the show’s version was more interesting and complex. The same goes for the story itself, the relationships between the characters, pretty much everything. I wanted more Sabrina in my life during the long wait for season 3, but this was a letdown.
