Outside of a few writing issues (mainly head hopping within a single scene), this book was entertaining and I plan on continuing the series. I enjoyed the characters the most and can't wait to spend more time with them. 

Meh. There were portions that made me feel like I was getting beat over the head with the message. I liked most of the characters, I loved Beth’s journey, and I liked the art. I really didn’t like how everyone suddenly changed their dream careers, there wasn’t anything wrong with their original goals and the change felt forced to make a point that didn’t really need to be made because it doesn’t have anything to do with the message of the original story. I know retellings can be done different to the original, but it still needs to feel natural.
