A really lovely middle grade book with themes of difficult childhoods and how hard it is to be a kid with trauma. I feel like every Ellen Hopkins book holds messages both children and adults would benefit from thinking about and reflecting on.

Lots of things to love about this one but here are some highlights: book boyfriend come to life, main character who knows she's hot, and best friend who does not have time for bullshit or drama. Very lovable characters, very fun setting.

Welp I'm about to read everything jasmine guillory has ever written. So cute! Fun little references to all the classic parts of beauty and the beast.

I definitely enjoyed this duology. It's like if Romeo and Juliet were somewhat competent and you wanted them to end up together.

This book is SO SWEET! The main characters are all loveable, each in their own way. It's so fun to believe in those later on in life loves. If you love to root for the sweet, kind, good guy you'll love this book. no miscommunications from people not sharing their thoughts, everyone in this book knows how and why to be honest. Just a genuinely lovely love story!

3.5 more than a 3. A pretty good thriller. I was genuinely interested to see the conclusion the whole story would come to. I found Meghan's chapters to be the most (unrealistically?) written. Overall though pretty fun read.
