Such a quick readable intro to a series. It's the only time I'll ever relate to an assassin. I, too, am really sleepy and can fall asleep sitting up in chairs.

Well now I HAVE to read the next one

Very Romeo and juliet of them to have a one month romance that ends this dramatically.

What a truly enjoyable journey. Truly can't get enough of Manon. I'm pretty obsessed.

You know when you read a book that just has that indescribable quality about it? This book was so unsettling in all the best possible ways. I read it in a day because I was HOOKED. I needed to know more, I wanted to discover the past as Val finds the little crumbs leading to answers. This book is eerie, unusual, and filled with love (like a shocking amount of it considering how you feel for most of the book). Worth the read for sure.

DNF....I just couldn't do it for a ton of reasons. I made it 200 pages. Why is it 600 pages long? The first 200 pages are the same 5 sentiments over and over.

Manon has and will always be my favorite queen. Anyway 5 stars obviously. 1000 pages of non-stop stress. I feel at peace.
