👏👏👏
Some of the most delicious sexual tension I've ever read.
Also full of heart and complicated feelings for complicated reasons.
Loved it!

Oooooh baby I loved this thing. The length of it feels daunting but it is NOT A SLOG. There's so much character development and really top notch world building. I fucking loved this book.

Editing to note that this is high fantasy and if you do not like the formal language of classic high fantasy you probably won't like this. The language is very formal but the story is an absolute 10/10 for me. And also I eat that silly high fantasy language up.

Just much more cute than I would have expected from the description. Honestly just a pretty strong romance with serial killers.

This is a weird book for weird girls for sure. This touches on life as a child of immigrant parents, the struggles as a woman in society that is prone to being fetishized by men, and the pressure to reach parental expectations when their hopes rest on you just to name a few things. This is super dark, very gory, and honestly a gripping read. I devoured this one within a few hours. Lots of trigger warnings on this read but really good if you're not too squeamish and love a feminine rage story.

I like the multi POV whodunit structure but my main question is why are women marrying this man.
i know he ultimately wasnt the one killing them, which was so aggressively obvious so early on but still
it was just fine. That man is stupid.

Woah I loved this so much. I don't know what I expected but my god did I love corinne. I will say there's about 5000 descriptions of how much Enoch is built like a brick shithouse. And normally this might annoy me but I'm personally attracted to large brick wall sized men so I didn't mind. This was so melancholy and sweet. If pitched to me I would have said I'm not so interested in the premise but the execution worked so well imo.

As she does Kristin Hannah does an excellent job writing women who feel so real. I will say
the brain tumor felt kind of unnecessary to spark the healing relationship between the sisters
still, very readable. Introspective, thoughtful and sad like all Kristin Hannah books I've read so far.

Steampunk fantasy novella. Lots of religious references that would probably make more sense to me if I had ever paid attention in catechism. Honestly pretty good, very tight little story. Less than 200 pages so you can only do so much character developing, impressive what was done.

I'm just fighting my way through and I'm deciding to give up. I love the concept. After I got through the prologue I felt like I got a handle on my understanding of the story but unfortunately my mind won't stop wandering as I read it. Maybe I'm too stupid for this one (probably this.) I just am tired of fighting my own brain on this one.
