I get why people like this book, but I just couldn't suspend my disbelief enough. It really felt like it was trying too hard. The name drops from the Renaissance were clunky. The book was very grounded in the now with mentions of the 2016 election and Covid which made the plot even more unbelievable. The ending felt very rushed. There was a lot of lead up to their relationship then it was all glazed over once they were in it. Tuesday was an amazing character and she had nothing to do in the last 30% of the book.
