The characters are very wooden

Title and cover sucked me in but the content didn't deliver. I'll take the cold refried beans 

Just the author complaining about her broken marriage and why she had to cheat on her husband. 

FMC is insufferable. She is rude, cruel, arrogant, controlling, and abusive. She is also killing that cat and I just can't keep reading. Based on other reviews her behaviors get worse and she doubles down on her BS. 

Too slow I just couldn't get hooked
