Well... :) I finally started the TOG series.
I first read ACOTAR, so unintentionally I did expect the same writing style and character development.
Of course, Sarah did wright the book when she was a teen herself so I do understand the difference and won`t comment on that a lot, but Sarah ... you spoiled me :)
It took me a while to get started with the reading but as the story went on I flew through the second part of the book. The plot twist was something I predicted and was not surprised by it but the story was so well set and opened a new set of questions to be answered. I didn't quite get the chemistry between the love interest but by now we all know who are we waiting for :) sooo that was probably putting me off. I wish I had a chance to read it when the books were coming out...there are a lot of spoilers looming through the internet
Celena's character is presented as a strong independent girl, with a bit of teenage angst but I believe we will see her growth through the further storyline.
Dorian - cute, charmboy and he knows it, quite direct at what he wants. I didn`t care a lot for him but he seemed nice :)
Chaol, on the other hand, I did like. I hope we will get his backstory and see him opening up to others. He is quite a mystery.
Now I will hop on to the next book! See ya there :)
