4.5 - I enjoyed Butcher & Blackbird more but did enjoy this one.
Took way too long to read because of other books interrupting me and needing to take priority.

Courtney Walsh will always be an automatic read for me - I love how she’s able to give emotion & meaning to a book, and keep it positive and light.
I love the idea behind a summer of “yes” - especially when I have said “no” to a lot of things in life.
The characters brought a lot of joy & laughs as I was reading. Especially Georgina. I was not expecting a sassy old lady to become my favorite character.
Did everything wrap up super easy & in a neat little bow? It’s to be expected with Courtney Walsh, but that’s why I read her books. I love knowing that I’m going to have a light & fluffy read that is sure to bring a smile to my face.
Thank you to Thomas Nelson & NetGalley for the e-ARC. And thank you to Courtney Walsh for the traveling ARC I got to participate in with some friends.

I absolutely adore magical realism & Wish I Were Here was such a fun & difference concept.
Luca is my new book boyfriend - I’m a sucker for tattoos and I absolutely adored his positivity & caring nature. And the chemistry between Catherine & Luca!!! It was just absolutely perfect. They felt like complete opposites who just fit together & complemented each other so perfectly.
I love how Melissa Wiesner creates her side characters to be as memorable & important as her main characters. I love how her story telling is full of a wide range of emotions and the characters feel so real - flaws & all.
This is one book that I absolutely wish I could read again and again, experiencing it for the first time every time.
Thank you so much to Forever and NetGalley for the e-Arc, in exchange for my honest review. And thank you to Melissa Wiesner for letting me be on a traveling ARC team. I loved being able to annotate this book.
A BILLION STARS.

3.5 stars - definitely a me thing as I struggled to connect with the characters & the story.
As I have friends who loved this, definitely recommend trying and seeing for yourself (take mu opinion with a grain of salt)
