This book gave me all the warm feels, and had me hooked from the very beginning. It was a dual timeline about past and current relationships. The ending was kind of predictable, but that was OK. I didn’t like the random health scare and could’ve done without that.
Weekends with You was a 3.5 star, but I rounded up to 4 stars. It was a beautifully written rom-com debut that was easy to read and was hard to put down.
I LOVED the plot and the premise of the story. I thought it was incredibly creative and new. I loved how memorable the characters were - not only the FMC and the MMC, but also all of the sided characters who made up this amazing found family.
The only reason for the rating is that I went into it expecting a love story but I didn't feel the chemistry between the FMC and MMC. it was hard to root for the relationship because the chemistry was lacking.
I loved the relationship between all of the friends and that was enough for me.
Huge thank you to NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

I’m going between 3.5 - 4 stars for this one. I’m a sucker for magical realism and witches so I really enjoyed that aspect of it. I loved the characters and the towny vibe, but I didn’t feel the chemistry between the FMC and the MMC. (Honestly, I was rooting for the FMC and her best friend who she started fake dating)
There was a big secret from the MMC that I really didn’t enjoy - I felt like that should have been shared much earlier on because the way that it was revealed felt like along the lines of the surprise pregnancy trope.
Overall, cute book. I enjoy Sarah Hogle’s writing so I do look forward to her upcoming books.

I am here to say that Katherine Center can literally do no wrong with her books.
I absolutely loved The Rom-Commers. There were swoony bits, there were laugh-out-loud bits, and I absolutely devoured this book.

Emma and Charlie may be my absolute favorite FMC/MMC in a KC book - I loved their banter, I loved how their friendship and their relationship developed. I didn’t enjoy the jump scare with the medical condition at the end, but I knew that KC would wrap it up nice & lovely.
I really can’t wait to get my physical copy so I can re-read and annotate.
Huge thank you to St Martins Press and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. And please send me widgets for future KC books because I will never stop reading her.

I absolutely adored this debut from Etta Easton. I love fake dating but Amerie and Vincent were on a whole different level. the chemistry was perfect - I wanted to scream at Amerie at how smitten that Vincent was. I loved the families and the side characters. They definitely stood on their own and really added to the story.
I usually dislike the third act breakup but the way this was written worked so well and I loved how they came together at the end.
Thank you to Berkley and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!
