Amy is able to see the end result of a relationship with just a simple kiss.
Which means that when she gets drunk & kisses three guys, she has no idea which guy gave her which premonition. She happened to have two bad premonitions & one good one.
I really enjoyed this book! It was a relatively quick read, fast paced, and I enjoyed her interactions with each guy as she tried to figure out who she was meant to have a long lasting relationship with.
The only change I would make is stronger chemistry between the characters. I felt a small chemistry between her & Gareth, her best friend and I was completely rooting for him to be the good kiss in the end.
Rated 3.5 stars because of the lackluster chemistry and it could have used a bit of spice…
Thank you to Forever & NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

First we saw an autism/adhd - opposites attract with Tilly in Technicolor and I LOVED it. Now we get it with Late Bloomer and I LOVED this one just as much.
Opal is stuck in her "feels like she's always making a mess of things" era - so when she wins 500k from scratch off lottery ticket, she realizes that this is her chance to start fresh & new. She finds an ad for a flower farm and buys it so she can have a calming & beautiful place to create her art.
In comes Pepper who just so happens to live at this flower farm and is struggling to keep the farm afloat.
I'm pretty sure Opal fell first and fell hard, but it didn't take long for Pepper to fall too. I loved being able to read their POV and get two very distinct voices. I loved their chemistry and I loved the relationships between Opal & Pepper and the background/side characters. Even the grandma, I felt like she was very much a real person in the story even though she didn't have her own voice.
Another amazing story from Mazey Eddings and another one that is getting a billion stars (goodreads is lame to max at 5).
HUGE. HUGE. HUGE. HUGE. HUGE thank you to NetGalley and St Martins Press for the widget & ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Star Shine Meadows is a happy-go-lucky ball of sunshine that was raised by hippie parents - naturally she doesn't like to live by the same social constructs that others do. Because of this, she has learned how to make a life for herself by having odd jobs that make her happy, but definitely not your typical careers.
Then she meets Rafe Whitman, a very well off veterinarian, who is also a total grump. He is also tired of continually hearing from his family that it's time for him to settle down.
So naturally, he offers her a job to be his fake girlfriend and break up with him - all to get his family off his back.
I LOVED The Love Plot - I loved the character development and growth as you see how they both manage their own dysfunctional families. I love the banter and the chemistry that they have with each other. I also love that Rafe never tries to change who Star is a person. He loves her for the real person that she is.
Thank you so much NetGalley, Valentine PR, and Berkley for the ARCH in exchange for my honest review!

Who Haunts You tell the story of three students who were mysteriously killed and Rebecca, who has autism, is convinced that something is going on and these murders were not a coincidence.
However, she starts being haunted by a spirit, with each interaction getting crazier & crazier. She starts to realize that there are connections to each murder that are similar to her own experience - which means that she's also racing against time to stop her own demise.
I'm a sucker for a good paranormal book that creeps me out - Who Haunts You definitely gave had a creep factor that kept me on the edge of my toes and made the book one that I couldn't put down.
Annalee Scott was a fantastic narrator - I loved the difference in her voice when it went between Rebecca and Holly. She had great energy that made the audiobook a joy to listen to.
However, I really struggled with the "twist" at the end and I could have done with a completely different ending. Because of that, I did knock it from a 5 star to a 4.5 star.

This was my very first Mhairi McFarlane book and I wasn't sure what to expect - I knew that it was going to be a women's fiction, but I didn't expect a book with so much depth & emotion.
Roisin & Joe are with their friends on a weekend getaway to celebrate the release of Joe's new show. However, Roisin is shocked when the first episode includes some of her secrets that only Joe knows.
This book made me fall in love with Roisin and Matt (her friend turned lover) who was there for her to support her through the twists & turns as she made changes to her life & worked through the drama as her secrets continue to be shown in each episode of Joe's show.
Joe was an absolutely retched person and as the book went on, I hated him more and more. I absolutely love when a book makes me feel so many emotions for it's characters.
I will definitely read more of Mhairi's books because I love her writing style & depth.

As soon as I saw that this is an authorized companion to The Haunting of Hill House, I knew I had to read it.
Holly, her girlfriend, and two theater actors are staying at Hill House as Holly takes some much needed time to work on her playwright.
Because it’s Hill House, things get REALLY creepy.
I have a very strong love/hate relationship with thrillers - especially when they are audios. Will I have nightmares now? Probably. Do I still devour them and listen non-stop because I can’t put them down. ABSOLUTELY.
I loved the way that Elizabeth Hand brought Hill House to life yet again. The way she described the hauntings. The characters were very hot/cold for me but the chemistry between them was interesting - almost as though some of them didn’t trust each other but they also knew they needed to trust each other because they basically had no choice. The time jumps, the creatures, the voices - I still get chills thinking about it.

This was my first Elena Armas book and while I have her previous two, they are still sitting unread on my bookshelf. I really loved the premise of the book and I love her writing, however there were some things in this book that I didn't love.
Adalyn is shipped off to North Carolina to help a youth soccer team after an outburst caught on camera causes a lot of problems for her the MLS team owned by her father. There she meets Cameron, a retired soccer player, who is laying low and doesn't want anybody to know his real identity.
What I loved:
the meet cute, the chemistry and banter, the side characters who shined just as much as the main characters, the grumpy x sunshine
What I didn't love:
the twist at the end (half-sister) that came completely out the blue and felt random, too slow of a burn, MMC grump turned softie turned dominating and aggressive in the bed., THE SLOW BURN because it was toooooo freaking slow (seriously - if you are going to have spice, give it to us at least by the 50% mark, if not sooner), they kind of lost focus on building up the team at the point that she hurt her ankle
I would rate it at 3.5 - I'm still excited to read her other two and I will definitely check out future books from her as well.
